Hotel Portobelo — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

My sister and I ,both senior ladies,just returned from Colombia. Our Hotel in Bogotá was the Portobelo,which at first looked to be a poor choice as we arrived in the dark, and the outside wasn't imposing.We came to see that this hotel had just what we were looking for. First, quiet,a trade off as it is not close to restaurants, or shopping.The area is safe, and the Transmilanio public transportation is an 8 min.walk away . The hotel personnel were very helpful,the breakfast was quite good, even had fresh squeezed orange juice.The price is under $40 a night for 2,they have either 2 twin or 1 double bedded rooms.
