Hotel Spa El Giro — Hotel in Boyacá

At first, even it looked as a new small hotel, a little away from main Plaza of Villa de Leyva, we decided to book and stay there for 5 days.||What a surprise for us.... such a beautifully decorated small hotel, nice simple room, clean, nice view,and pleasant ambiance.||The local staff is so magnificent, Hector and Carolina, deserved a 5 star evaluation....||Friendly, professional, kindly, helpful, always willing to keep you happy, in fact if allowed , they will literally carry you to your room...||We are pretty sure they work hard to keep every guess to the highest level of service.||We truly appreciated their service and sincere friendship while our stay.||And of course, we also had the nice opportunity to know the hotel owners, Alejandro and Lucy.....we also will give them a 5 stars evaluation.||They are not only the owners, but awesome persons, caretakers, guess oriented, and Lucy is an excellent chef at the hotel kitchen...||The hotel facilities are well kept, the small enclosed pool is a beauty, and with a jacuzzi, and cristal blue waters invite you to relax and get inn.||The included breakfast, is also first class breakfast.... no complains, but satisfaction 150%....||Sincerely we fell in love with this small hotel, despite being a little away from the village center.||But it worth the walk or to pay small fee cab, if not willing to a 10 minutes safe walk||Definitively , we recommend this hotel without any doubt, and thanks Hector, Carolina, and owners, Alejandro and Lucy for make us so happy during our stay.||Yes we will go back...

El Giro is a very pretty, new and modern hotel that perfectly blends with the colonial architecture and charm of Villa de Leyva. The manager, Alejandro, and the staff, Carolina and Hector, took care of every detail for us and made our stay delightful and relaxing. They graciously arranged transportation for us to that we could explore the area and were accommodating and caring all the time. The place is clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the decoration is classy. The sauna and the swimming pool are a nice plus. El Giro is not very close to the plaza, but walking 10-15 min through the neighborhood to get to the historic area is pleasant, safe and fun. Villa de Leyva will always be one of my favorite places to visit in Colombia. There are many fun activities in the area for every taste, age and budget. ¡Gracias por una...

Three night stay. In a relatively quiet spot 10 min walk from main square. ||We had a room on the top floor with a small standing room only balcony. Partial view of the town and the surrounding hills. Reasonably spacious. Comfortable bed. Good shower with plenty of hot water. However, one issue was no window except for balcony door and room got rather hot as there is no air con or fan.||Breakfast was OK. Didn't much care for the layout of the space. Small indoor pool and room to get a massage, which was quite good at 130,000 COP.||Very friendly and...
