Peru Burguer Villa de Leyva — Restaurant in Boyacá

Considering the price, my experience here was just average. I have had ají de gallina many times while I was in Peru so when I saw a hamburger (made with chicken, not beef) with the aji de gallina sauce, I was expecting it to taste like what I had had in Peru. But it just wasn't anything special and the taste of the grilled chicken overpowered whatever flavor there was in the sauce. The price for this burger is currently 21, 000 pesos which is not exactly cheap...

I have been in Villa De Leyva for 2 weeks and it have tried many restaurants. Peru burger is the highest quality food, drinks, and service I have had yet. Ben, the owner, is as beautiful as the food and service. If you don't eat here during your trip then you haven't had the Villa...

Este restaurante se encuentra un poco alejado de la plaza principal de Villa de Leyva, pero es una buena opción para estar relajados y comer algo diferente.

En su menú cuentan con dos opciones vegetarianas, más una hamburguesa con opción de agregar champiñones. La proteína vegetal está hecha de quinua: aunque un poco aguada (no crocante), resulta una buena alternativa. El plato viene acompañado de papas, con la posibilidad de elegir entre papas en casco o papas a la francesa. Personalmente recomiendo las de casco, ya que las francesas tenían bastante sabor a aceite y se sentían algo artificiales, mientras que las de casco conservaban un sabor más natural a papa.

También pedimos una chicha morada, que estaba muy rica y perfecta para el clima de Villa de Leyva. Además, el lugar ambientaba la experiencia con buena música y muy buen servicio, lo que hizo más...
