Came here as well with great expectations because its supposedly the most famous building in the city. Yet the amount of amenities and service this hotel lacks is crazy !! Our room had spiders, the bed sheets were stained with you know what, even the couch had a weird stain on it which just disgusted me from even using it. The rooms overall arent modern aswell as the hotel. Elevators take forever to work etc. I know this tower was built for the 70s but to be honest, management needs to get level with the other top modern hotels in the city and the world. Its 2022, service needs to be better for tourists from more developed countries to visit. The "Buffet breakfast" isnt even buffet because they serve you and the options are so limited its not even buffet. Its also not American style because very limited american options there, they barely have waffles or pancakes to be called American breakfast ??? Literally Eggs and bread and soup every single day is boring compared to hotels like Sheraton. Overall the service here is well intentioned however the hotel just isnt for modern guests, if you want good service spend the extra $20 a night...
Read moreI am extremely frustrated with the situation here. Despite the maintenance team's efforts to fix the air conditioning, it still doesn't work properly, leaving me sweltering in this unbearable heat. On top of that, the curtains in the room are so sheer that bright sunlight floods in early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep comfortably.
To make matters worse, the noise level in this place is absolutely ridiculous. The windows don't close properly, allowing the sounds of passing vehicles to disturb my peace. I've been rudely awakened by the loud and obnoxious cars that pass by in the early hours of the morning. It's impossible to get a good night's sleep in this environment.
Furthermore, the doors are incredibly thin, which means every sound from outside echoes loudly into the room. There's no privacy or tranquility to be found here. It feels like I can hear every conversation and movement happening outside.
I can say with certainty that I will never come back to this place. It has been a truly terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's incredibly disappointing and...
Read moreWe stayed for one week this September. We like to stay in this hotel and in fact we always do. The rooms are very clean, spacious and affordable and the staff is very nice. Our housekeeper Paula, was very nice, helpful and careful. Mrs. Esther at the restaurant is the kindest and nicest person ever and always very pleasant; we got sick and she prepared us a medicinal tea to get better and it worked. This time we found a problem with the noise and the elevators, there was always a problem with the elevators. After 8:00 pm. you have to call the front desk for them to send you an elevator, it was pretty bad and in the morning sometimes the elevator was so full that you couldn't go down, you needed to go all the way up to be able to get a place inside to go to the lobby. Anyway, I hope they can resolve that problem. We will try the hotel again, we like it and we like the people...
