Pandora's House Coliving — Hotel in Envigado

This is one of the best colivings in town - and I've been around to a few so far.

You need to be aware that this a bit out of town but Envigado is an absolutely nice and authentic neighborhood. You can even sit in front to the house and have a little forest where sometimes some flock of birds are making loud sounds - a very good problem to have in Medellin as I personally think. It's in a very residential area, yet a few minutes walking gets you to pretty much everything you need, which is great.

The rooms upstairs are better for to my opinion, at least those that have a window for some natural light. There's a good coworking and enough social areas. All that refers to the smaller house, soon they will have the building next door which I have no idea about how it looks like.

BUT: it's not a coliving as I would define a coliving to my standards (that's why it gets one star less). There's no community management happening (sorry, a Whatsapp group is not a community) and so you happen to have a house with a hodgepodge of travelers.

I am so glad I found Pandora's in Envigado for my last week in Medellin during my first visit in Colombia. The love, value and service Santiago and his mom, Pandora pour into this place is obvious. ||||I loved my room, bed super comfortable, bathroom spacious with closet and great hot water, sustainability focus, great desk, equipped kitchen, rooftop space, and coworking spots! It is super clean and common spaces are constantly cleaned. The WiFi worked great. Peace and quiet at all times.||||The community that stays is great and friendly, another testament to Santiago and his mom!||||It is super safe neighborhood on outskirts of Medellin. Loved walking to church, Exito, croissants with dark chocolate and coffee across from Exito, and more. Pandora's is an amazing place for digital nomads! The coworking space is insane - it's comfortable, has everything you need, loved the little balcony for breakfast tea. Santiago definitely understands what any working person needs. :) In general, he's such a lovely person, interesting to talk to, always responds to any concerns/issues quickly.||||The check-in is fantastic, very clear, very detailed and in general the on-suite rooms and big kitchen and big living room is great! I haven't used the outdoor space much but it looked good, too!||||I also really liked the clean minimalistic approach to living, filtered water, all the appliances in the kitchen and so on.||||Honestly, I also didn't expect to like Envigado so much but this house is in a perfect location to little cafes, restaurants, bars and a big mall Viva.||||I'd highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back if I was looking for a place in Envigado.
