Hotel Casona De La 70 — Hotel in Medellín

A nice and quite new hotel in a "not that touristic" part of the city. I stayed here for three nights. While I was traveling by myself, I booked a small room. Without a window unfortunately, but I didn't really mind. It was clean, had a good bed and excellent bathroom.|People at the reception were friendly and even spoke English. The Hotel Casona La 70 is well located in the Stadium Area of Medellin, footsteps from the Estadio Metro Station, with many restaurants and bars nearby. I would recommend the hotel to people who do not plan on spending much time in their rooms, as all rooms do not have any windows, besides small/narrow venting tilt 'windows'. I made a reservation through internet. 24 hours later (one day before my arrival) I get a sms saying that they can not offer the room anymore. Their explanation was that there was an error and at the moment that I made the reservation thy did not have any available room.
