Florida Inn Hotel — Hotel in Medellín

I originally booked the hotel for 2 nights out of my 12 nights and medellin because of some reviews I've read , I ended up staying there for 9 more nights . When I arrived there, it was totally different from what I've read. Speaking from my experience, this is the best hotel in cra 70. You have everything minutes away from you . Yes it's right in the center of the nightlife but it's pretty safe there . The hotel is very clean , the staff are amazing even though I've never had a conversation with them except when I need the keys etc. I totally recommend hotel Florida Inn . I will come back next time if...

The hotel was more like a motel...it was old and in terrible shape. The bed was so lumpy and awful and the blanket was so dirty I was scared to go into the bed. The bathroom the hot water did not work on the sink so I had to shave using the shower, and the hair dryer was also broken. At about 11pm a group of kids entered the hotel and were being extremely loud. I called down to ask for the reception to ask them to quiet down a bit as I had work early in the morning and they did nothing. The kids were screaming throughout the night, at best I slept for one hour. I would never go back here even...

Si este comentario hubiese sido escrito en el año 1994 tal vez hubiese puesto 5 estrellas. Pero estamos en 2024 y el hotel ya se queda en el pasado. Las habitaciones son muy antiguas. Los muebles. LAS CORTINAS de los años 80. El aire que no se puede apagar. Y EL ASCENSOR es lo más antiguo que si alguien no se sube rápido puede llevarse un buen golpe (como me pasó a mi) ya que no funcionan los sensores de atrapamiento y podría ser muy peligroso para un bebé.

Así que si el recepcionista nos hubiera dejado entrar a ver la habitación antes de pagar seguramente no nos hubiésemos alojado. Pero no lo hizo porque sabe que el que ve la habitación no se queda en algo tan antiguo y con fallas. Yo pensé que íbamos a la fija ya que en Montería hay un hotel llamado Florida Sinú que es un lujo. Pero no se parece en nada a este.

Adicionalmente mucho ruido en las noches. Los borrachos llegan a hablar en los pasillos y no dejan dormir los fines de semana.

Algo feo e incomodo son los letreros que tienen por todo lado como amenazando a los clientes que al final van a haber cobros extras así que así quien va a poder estar tranquilo.

En lo que se puede rescatar es que las camas eran cómodas el mini bar en la habitación que apesar de estar un poco roto y tener más de 30 años servía para enfriar. Y la ubicación es buena cerca al metro y en la 70.

Es recomendado no transitar por la calle de atrás de la 70 por donde dice que esta ubicado en google maps ya que es un error. El hotel queda es por la principal. Y la calle del respaldo tiene indigentes y una persona...
