Hotel Parque 70 — Hotel in Medellín

Good instant hot water. Air conditioning. Great location one half block off fun area Setenta with a little park close to the door. Mattresses are soft which I like as a side sleeper. One of the clerks speaks English. Small stereo in each room. Hot tub on the roof. Great wifi with many routers so works in every room. Get an inside room such as 216 so it's quieter because 70(Setenta) is a party area. ||There are rooms in the back where cars park underneath and of course everyone has to chirp the horn from the keychain when they lock the car instead of just locking and shutting the door. ||There were some annoying thing where a workman was allowed to make loud noise across the hall at 7:30 on Sunday morning. I can't believe they allowed this. Then they painted the room on the same day Medellin had terrible pollution with virtually all the monitoring stations showing red. Put more thought into management. ||This is a general complaint about hotel design where little thought is put into make it as quiet as possible. It's like being looked after by your friends. You will hear Carrera 70 all night. The atmosphere around the hotel is jumping. The bars and restaurants are all quite similar in the 200m either side of the hotel (on 70) and the bars try to out do each other with who has the loudest music. Not sure you could converse in...

Me gustó el hotel, el acceso en ascensor es hasta el tercer piso y el comedor en el 4 piso, así como el jacuzzi por lo que si se viaja con personas con movilidad reducida hay que tenerlo en cuenta. La atención fué muy buena, las habitaciones como se ven en la publicidad, sólo una señora de la cocina de ojos grandes y tes blanca muy despectiva, el resto de personal fue muy cortés. Es muy cerca de la estación de metro "Estadio", la zona es muy comercial y agradable y cuenta con servicio de parqueadero. Excelente ubicación y el desayuno...
