Pros Spent 3 weeks at the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, there is a small kitchenette with a stove and a few pots and plates were provided. The view from the back side of the hotel 4th floor was very nice and beautiful especially at night. The price seem to be very reasonable but this is my first trip to Columbia so I could be wrong
Cons When we checked in we were given two remotes for the TV and one for the air conditioner, the one for the air conditioner did not function called the desk they sent a maintenance guy to check it out he did something and said he was going to replace the batteries, two days later it was not working again I took it to the desk and asked for a different remote they told me they would have to charge me because nobody had said that anything was wrong with the remote I told them that we reported it the first day we were there they finally gave in and gave us a new remote. Every time they clean the room they left three towels because there was three of us in the room each time I would ask them for a fourth towel to use as a bath mat you would think after the third time of asking they would figure it out. Read moreWe come to medellin on a regular maybe once a month for the last yr or so and always stay here so we are not new guest. We are very familiar with this hotel and were very familiar with that previous staff. We always book three rooms for a wk stay. But now that it is under new managment this stay was the worst experince ever. Not only were they rude and nip picking at everything we did and didnt do. So many guest walked around practicallt naked yet the moment i walked out with out a shirt to my friends room that was across this new employee comes and tells me to put a shirt on yet she didnt tell anyone else. We checked out today and due to unforseen traffic we were a little late for check out we notified the hotel yet were charged for that little bit of time we ran late. I understand policy but the new manager was rude, very dry, didnt have good customer service. We are regulars frequent regulars and he treated us like we didnt belong never felt so unwelcomed like the new staff and manager made us feel. Guess its time to look for a new hotel so our next stay. Read moreI haven't even checked in and it's already the worst experience. My flight gets in at 10:45pm and I noticed check-in was 3pm until check out the next day. Then upon purchase, the rules say check in is closed at 12am. The email also says they provide airport transportation. I called, emailed, text on Whatsapp, ALL NOTHING. Terrible.
