This hotel is in a great location, close to nice restaurants and right in front of ‘Segundo Parque de Laureles.’ While the hotel has potential, it could benefit from more attention to detail.Firstly, the room I stayed in had damaged floor panels caused by water from the sink. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities like a microwave and coffee machine, which are standard in most 4-star hotels. Another disappointing feature is that the pool is only accessible for a fee and requires a reservation, which is absurd for a facility meant for guests.|The rooftop has three workout machines, but they barely function. There’s also a jacuzzi, but this is my second stay in two years, and I’ve yet to see it in working order. The hotel has a lot of empty spaces on the first two floors and the rooftop, which could be utilized better. For instance, they could add more workout machines or turn the rooftop into a bar or lounge area for guests to relax. Some staff members are not very friendly, as noted by other reviews as well. The breakfast is decent, with plenty of options, but overall, the hotel doesn’t meet the standards of a 4-star property. Considering the price, you’re better off staying at another nearby hotel. For example, the new Urbit Social Lofts nearby is lovely, with super friendly staff. Although it’s still under construction, it promises to have a fantastic rooftop soon.In summary, this hotel should either improve its amenities and services or downgrade to a 3-star rating. Fixing issues like the damaged jacuzzi, making the pool free for guests, and enhancing the overall experience would go a long way in justifying its...
Read moreThis hotel is perfectly position for people that want to eat delicious food and go shopping for typical memoir artifacts. The hotel staff is professional, one of the receptionist, male, was a bit condescending or too cult. The type of receptionist that you can tell is not genuine in what they do as far as greeting and making someone feel at home. As far as the concierge, who also was the commissionaire, doorman and a helping hand. He works in the morning and offered transportation since one of those days that I was there, it was a "no vehicle day". I'm not good with names, but when I visit Medellin again I'll definitely stay at this hotel, chosing it over Viaggio Medellín, simply because of the service and attentiveness of this individual.
Read moreI was incredibly disappointed with this hotel. The best thing going for it is the location. LOVED the location and it's really the only hotel in the area (Laureles). ||Sadly, I was disappointed with the facilities and the staff. To start, as soon as we walked in, the front desk lady was standoffish and it seemed like we were bothering her checking in. Then, when we got to our room, the air conditioning wasn't working- I asked for her to send someone up and they didn't. Again, I was clearly bothering her. Thus, the rest of our stay was so stifling (we were on the 8th floor and can't open windows) that we had to leave the door open at times just to get some airflow. ||The room was clean enough. Twice we weren't given any towels, which we had to ask for- which again, seemed like we were bothering the staff. The bed was huge, as was the shower. But the shower was in a room that sort of just flooded everywhere, including in front of the toilet. There was a safe and a mini-fridge. Breakfast was included, but was really awful. The food just wasn't fresh. We ended up going out for breakfast half our time there, which was disappointing. ||While we didn't use the pool (it says it's an extra charge), we stopped by to look one night and it's definitely not worth paying extra for. ||Overall, we absolutely loved the area- restaurants everywhere, safe, quieter and a great vibe, but I was incredibly disappointed in the hotel, especially the staff at the front desk. So...
