Hotel White House — Hotel in Medellín

Give 1 star because the receptionist Julio(Venezulean) stoled some of our money $1.500.000 pesos plus 100 dollar bill.. Total $600 US from my suitcase.. My girlfriend and I were staying at this hotel for 3 weeks. We choosed this Hotel because it claim to have a Safe and the location was very convenient for us but when we got there they didn't have a Safe. We stayed anyways and Everything was going well, the staff was friendly , the service was good until we found out that we were missing money from our suitcases. Our room #203 has a balcony right next to the room#204 that's also has a balcony and it's very easy to cross over to our room plus the door lock mechanism from our room wasn't working, it doesn't lock.. I guess JULIO must have known about this before us staying in. The night before leaving we counted the money to make sure we had enough cash to cover the hotel bill... we had about 4×100 pesos bills and 1×100 dollar bill in envelope together with other bills. The following day we went to pay the hotel bill and all our 100 pesos bills , 100 dollar bill was missing... immediately call the Hotel Manager "JOHAN" and he corporated with us in showing the footage and playing back the video. And it clearly shows JULIO (THE RECEPTIONIST) going to the room#204 (when it was vacant) next door 2 times taking apox 2-4 minutes each time.. there was NO REASON for him to be there.. we still paid the Hotel bill in full and we didn't get any refund...I know that the money is long gone but we only demand is Justice and be careful...

TERRIBLE STAY! Stay far away...NO TE ALOJES EN ESTE HOTEL

The moment we arrived, we were not even greeted by anyone. Our 3-bed hotel room was dirty and had other people's hair all over the 2 beds. Also, the windows were broken. The individual bed had a baby COCKROACH in it!!! My friend spoke to the Manager, Claudia, on the phone and she then hung up on her. ZERO customer service. We went to speak to the new receptionist downstairs (passed ANOTHER dead cockroach) The receptionist said "there is nothing we can do" and did 0 to help us.We did not get a refund or any money back. We decided we could not stay at that hotel so we packed our bags and left a much nicer hotel around the corner. Tuvimos una ESTANCIA TERRIBLE! Mantente lejos... En el momento en que llegamos, nadie nos saludó. Nuestra habitación de hotel de 3 camas estaba sucia y tenía pelos de otras personas en ambas camas, por todas partes. Tambien, ventanas rotas La cama individual tenía una CUCARACHA bebé!!! Mi amiga habló con la gerente, Claudia, por teléfono y luego le colgó. Atención al cliente cero. Fuimos a hablar con la nueva recepcionista de abajo (pasamos con OTRA cucaracha muerta) La recepcionista dijo "no hay nada que podamos hacer" e hizo 0 para ayudarnos.

No obtuvimos un reembolso ni ninguna devolución de dinero. Decidimos que no podíamos quedarnos en ese hotel, así que hicimos las maletas y dejamos un hotel mucho mejor a la vuelta...
