Level Coliving — Hotel in Medellín

ETA: The owner can dodge and lie all they want. I’ve been on Airbnb 10+ years and never have had an issue like this. Adding that we wanted to leave after the 2nd room but the co-host asked us to stay and check a 3rd room. We were ready to cut our losses so to imply otherwise speaks to who they are. The known issues (they told them to airbnb support) were still issues when we arrived. So fixing them (supposedly) weeks later doesn’t count. Best of luck!

Leaving a review here because we left an accurate review on AirBnB that got removed by these shady owners on a technicality (used room#). I’ll happily leave it here where I’m not limited to characters - or photos.

Rent with caution. We actually stayed in 3 of their spaces within 2/3 days due to known issues. Home next door to their building has a weird, loud tapping noise you can hear in the front unit. The “poolside” unit should not be a room. The laundry room, bathroom, and “gym” are steps outside the door. As well as the pool/jets which will sound like a waterfall in the room. It’s an odd voyeur setup as well because you have full view of the pool (but people can’t see in your room). Know this if you’re using the pool. The AC in this room has a broken pump so there’s a consistent, jarring noise every 10 seconds that will keep you up. It was reported on another review from JANUARY and the owner said it was fixed. It was not. This was April.

The last unit we were in was upstairs on the left. Much quieter and we appreciated them moving us - again - but the space had roaches (roaches in pool room too). Mold in the shower ceiling and not cleaned properly at all. We checked the room before moving to it initially - for similar noise issues. Not knowing what would actually be waiting for us later at night.

Despite issues with all rooms, owners re-listed them immediately without addressing issues. They are all about getting money. Spaces are fine if you’re ok with ignoring things but we wish we had reviews giving a fuller picture.

Location is fantastic as Laureles is a great area but save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. So many other...
