I booked this on Expedia... It's not even a hotel. No mountain views (in the middle of the city surrounded by much taller buildings) no bar, no roof deck... Literally nothing at all it was advertised to be. My room was on the first floor in front of the building where I hear all kinds of traffic (it's not even a busy street in any sense) dogs going insane (typical of a residential neighborhood) plus every single guest check in and conversation happening on the main floor. As I'm typing this, I'm listening to a woman talking to a man on speakerphone and can hear both ends of the conversation with perfect clarity over the tv I have on. "LH" stands for Lodging House, and it's literally a big house - which isn't a terrible thing at all, just don't book here expecting normal privacy nor amenities you might expect of a hotel. The anagrammed bath towel ripped in two places while I was drying off after a shower. The bathroom lights and fan are on a 15 min timer that you don't control... Awful if you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night then want to get back to sleep. Also all shut off on me while I was in the shower, no windows so the bathroom was pitch black while I waved my hands, then fumbled around hoping I'd make the right movement for it to all come back on. It did after I opened the shower door and got out. No 24hr access nor front desk person either... I had to leave for work at 5:30am and found the doors locked and bolted, all lights off, no one present to let me out. There is also literally street parking for one compact car and maybe a Smart car, or something that tiny. The road is terrible leading up to the place also, though the neighborhood is a nicer one in Pereira.
At the end of the day, it smells nice, is kind of rustic but not even remotely what I thought I was renting. Sort of a boutique style place with quotes in English all over the walls (service only in Spanish though), some quirky furniture, lots of glossy wood floors and surfaces. Probably best suited for those not looking for anything more than a place to store your things while in town, not for those looking to spend any time on the property. The bed is super firm though not entirely uncomfortable if that's your thing. Bathroom is tiny,...

At night I dont like to turn on light in bathroom. As i could control this. It bothered me a lot! They are so bright and from dark to so bright so fast. Isnt something i enjoy. I had hard time falling back asleep. Grumpy next day. Second complaint is I can hear other people in their rooms as well as kitchen staff & people in social areas. Nice place with paper...
