La Rioja Pinares — Restaurant in AMCO, Area Metropolitana Centro Occidente

We had high hopes for this place based on its rating, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

The venue itself is nice—open-spaced with plenty of tables available (only two were occupied during our visit, and one was leaving). However, the service and food were well below expectations.

We ordered food and drinks, but the drinks arrived after the food, which was strange. When they finally came, they were poorly mixed, very weak, and honestly not enjoyable. The food was another letdown—most of it was over-fried or over-grilled to the point of being difficult to eat. The fish was especially bad: extremely dry and lacking any real meat.

Prices seemed acceptable at first, but the quality of the food and drinks was a disaster. To make matters worse, when we checked the bill after paying, we realized we were overcharged by 5,000 pesos per drink, which added up to a noticeable difference in the total.

We have no idea why this place is rated so highly—it’s barely a 3-star experience at best. But with the billing error, we have to...

The worst experience ever, yesterday I went for a breakfast and homeles pass by for many tables including mine askingfor money or food . The staff see the situation and do nothing to make it leave including the manager avoid to contact him . After this guy start being verbally aggressive with us, one of the client has to make justice by their hands trying to remove this guy from the restaurant and the situation get so violent the homeless and the client start fighting 😩😩. Thanks to the client (our hero ) the situation get under control but the staff just see it a entertaining fight so sad and disappointed. Really this situation was the second time with homeless and people asking for money and will be my last time in rioja pinares .it is lack of management and you don’t feel safe...

I stumbled upon this restaurant because I was walking around with a dead phone and had no idea where I was. Initially I wanted to order something small just while I charge my phone, but the menu looked so good. I ended up getting the chicken specialty plate and a ginger/panela tea. The food tasted absolutely delicious and fresh, and the service was stellar. I also noticed that they’re open 24 hours and the cocktails looked good. This is a solid...
