Hotel Popayan Inn — Hotel in Popayán

This was our second visit back to Popayan in the space of a month. This place was considerably cheaper than our previous hostel/inn but was much nicer on first impression and literally just round the corner, so pretty much the same location. ||No complaints al all. The public courtyard area at the front of e building had comfortable seating, good lighting and was weather proof. The rear courtyard had a table, chairs so good if you wanted to eat in. ||No breakfast is provided, and not a problem given the choices very nearby. ||The bed was comfy, ensuite and TV in the room. Good security.||Excellent quality and value for money. I would return. ||I suppose it could get noisy if other guests are rowdy given the layout, but this can be said of all places of this traditional...

80.000 peso (22.50€) per night for a decent room. Centrally located in Popayan and close to everything such as restaurants and shops. Exploring the city center is easy be done on foot||||Spacious room with two big beds, closet, hangers, television and free wifi. A small bathroom with hot shower, same as other hotels in Colombia super clean doesn’t exist in the country I guess.|| ||One thing I find disgusting is the door of our room, this really is worn need a replacement. We recently stayed in this hotel on a visit to popayan. The reviews were good and a the location is great. Very quick walk to everywhere. The communal area was nice and there was a facility to make tea and coffee. The hotel manager spoke good English and was friendly.||||Cons, the room we had was onto an internal courtyard. There were sections of the door that we couldn't close and the walls were very thin. It was so noisy!! There seemed to be at least 3 children playing from 6am every morning in the courtyard.
