Although the BnB is just 5 minutes away from the airport, it took us about 40 minutes to go there by taxi. the taxi driver, who couldnt speak english, had problems finding it. Only a ten-ish minute taxi from the Sam Jose airport, and located in alejulas, this little slice of green space has a small gym, hammocks, and a secure entrance key fob entrance to keep you safe at night. Although it was slightly hard to find for a moment as the entrance is nondescript, just look for the “Airbnb” sticker and lion head sticker on the front of a metal door. This is a small budget-friendly boutique hotel. Mapping software will take you to the wrong side of the street - call the hotel and let them know you're in the neighborhood so they can help you find it. They even have a room in a geodesic dome! Very unique! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They asked what we wanted for breakfast and we got exactly what we asked for - VERY pleased! This will be our go-to spot for before/after SJO flights since we live 3-4 hours away...
