Hostel Mitamon — Hotel in Desamparados

A great little hostel right close to the airport, newly refurbished and upgraded, and very clean. Much better quality than more expensive places I've stayed. The hostesses are very friendly and accommodating, offerring breakfast as well for only $5 more. Very comfortable bed and nice n quiet at night. Bathrooms/showers are also big and upgraded and clean. Also, they have a very nice common area with a full kitchen set up, which is great for cooking your own meals. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, hence the price, but i never felt unsafe, as the property itself is very secure. Great value,...

I spent my last night at the Mitamon Hostel before I had to fly back home after my 3 months sabbatical.||When I arrived there, I was more than sad that I had to head back home in a few hours but the girls gave me the warmest welcome which kept my chin up. It was the perfect place to stay on my last night before heading to the airport. It is close to alot, they called me an Uber to go to a nearby mall for dinner, tons of options for places to eat as well as tons of ATMs if you need money. It is super close to the airport. Only takes a couple minutes, again you can use Uber. The breakfast was typical, fruit, bread, coffee/tea, cereal. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I'll certainly use them again next...
