This little spot is just lovely! The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere and service are memorable.
Upon first impression, I noticed the pleasing aesthetics, from the decor to the silverware. Each table was meticulously set, with unopened water bottles to ensure guests can have something to drink upon arrival.
Our server was pleasant and helpful, bringing out snacks with a variety of tasty chutney sauces right away. My husband ordered a signature cocktail and I a passion fruit lassi, both of which were delicious.
The food was authentic. rich and flavorful. I was particularly impressed with the coconut pistachio naan, and the spicy pickled vegetables were a perfect compliment to my mild, creamy malai kofta. My husband had the chicken tiika masala and garlic naan, with which he was also completely satisfied.
When he went to pay, he told our waiter that it was my birthday and asked him to bring me something a little special. I was surprised a few minutes later with a delightful and unique dessert - not sure what it was but it was like a combination of carrot cake and caramel flan, with a candle. On the plate was a rangoli design saying Happy Birthday in Spanish. Our waiter brought us a traditional style hat and some stick-on bindi dots so we could take pictures. It was a...
Read moreI've been here a few times now and every time the food is amazing with noteworthy depth of flavor. Normally I order palak paneer, butter chicken, and veg samosas. Always good though asked for medium spicy and these two dishes came with little spiciness (but the perfect spice mix) . However they brought out chilli paste on the side as well as spicy pickled veg - loved the option to add spice (without changing flavor) and always better to steer on the side of caution as a restaurant when customers order spicy so I can appreciate that. I've read in other comments that it was too spicy so it's nice to know that management is considerate of feedback. Also today we tried the daal tadka and it was insanely delicious, new favorite for sure. Service is great, atmosphere fine with easy parking, nice decor. I also love that they give a small crunchy snack at the beginning with chutneys and today we got some complimentary ice cream which I love. When restaurants offer small gifts like this, I feel very valued as a customer especially if the cost is on the higher side, which it is but so, so worth it! Thanks for consistently...

The Gajar Halwa served with Kulfi was the best I’ve ever eaten—rich, perfectly sweetened, and paired beautifully with the creamy kulfi. Another pleasant surprise was their Masala Papad, which was creatively served in a shot glass format—a unique and fun twist!
The Paneer Tikka Masala was spicy and very rich and tasty; Tandoori Roti and Lachha Parathas were soft & fresh.
The host was very warm and welcoming, fluent in both English and Hindi, which added to the overall comfort and excellent dining experience.
The restaurant is a convenient 15 min drive from the San Jose airport in Costa Rica, making it a perfect stop to or from the airport, for anyone craving traditional and authentic...
