Food was so delicious!! Did the traditional Tico breakfast and the Gallo Pinto was the most flavorful of all I've had during my Costa Rican visit! Children loved it and ate it right up! Took it to go because we were in a hurry and they made it very fast too. Also had a Chicken Caprese sandwich (forgot to take a photo) but it was absolutely delicious! The frozen cappuccino was tasty too!

Service and ambience were nice.

Conveniently located and quick service. This is a small restaurant with attentive service. Very clean. I got a papaya drink and it was amazing. My favorite papaya drink ever! I also got a couple of Colombian cheese rolls that were delicious. Friendly service family run. Recommend.

I was caught by the high star rating of that place and a review saying “the best coffee in Costa Rica” - it turned out as a big disappointment! Coffee (I’ve ordered espresso) was less than mediocre and “granola and yogurt” breakfast was basically a bowl of cornflakes accompanied by a small cup of a very sweet yogurt. Service and ambience were nice.

The place is very very nice. The food is as wonderful as the owners, their customer service is top-notch. They have a variety of dishes for lunch, all of them very delicious. The bathroom is something to highlight because it's always so clean. All of that makes us feel so at ease and enjoy our stay in that place. This is by far the best restaurant we've visited in Alajuela and is always our first choice when...

Their traditional breakfast is simple and delicious, the rice and beans were very well flavoured. It's great value at 3400 for breakfast + coffee or orange juice. The owner is incredibly friendly. They take VISA and they're the only restaurant in Costa Rica we encountered that don't add tip in by default so make sure you don't forget to...
