Magic Place — Hotel in Cóbano

We stayed in the Gris unit. We are from the US and we have traveled frequently to Southern Mexico, but this was only our second visit to Costa Rica. When we arrived at Magic Place we found the complex and our unit to be immaculately clean. Location, location, location! It's in just the perfect spot for shopping, dining, and surfing. The owners are very friendly and did us a great favor. I accidentally left my wallet. We discovered it missing when we were already a 4-Hour drive away. A couple days later we were able to rendezvous with the owners in a second location that was about 2 and 1/2 hours from Santa Teresa. They really went the extra mile for us and we are greatly appreciative and this is an example of the kind of host you'll be staying with 🙏🏻. Thank you!...

After 6 weeks at Magic Place, I can confidently say this is without a doubt the best location in town. 30 seconds from the beach, 20 seconds from an incredible breakfast cafe, 3 minutes from Eat Street, 5 minutes from laundry, 4 minutes from a supermarket, 40 seconds from Somos. The place itself is amazing. Much bigger than it looks in the photos, very homely, everything you need for a long stay. The pool and outdoor shower are an incredible addition. I stayed at Magic Place for one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was perfectly clean and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long hardworking day. I was traveling solo and as a woman I felt perfectly safe. The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and walking distance from the beach.
