Mi Casa Hostel y Hotel El Tesoro — Hotel in Cahuita

So far my favourite hostel in Costa Rica! Free Wi-Fi that only reaches a certain set of rooms. But wifi isn't the reason you're coming here. The hostel is located super close to the beach yet still inside the forest. Open to the outdoors kitchen and dorm style rooms and bathrooms. Electricity in all rooms as well. No free breakfast but Tasty Waves is out front the hostel. Tuesdays is ladies nights where girls get free drinks after 10. Reception wasn't manned when we got there late but the owner drove in as soon as he heard we were there. 10 min walk into town but we all rented biked for 7...

Great location but needs updating. It’s a decent value spot but unless being close to the beach is your top priority I’d find somewhere else. With some minor updates this place would be amazing but at this point it’s just ok. Below average for a hostel...

No nos gustó el lugar, es sucio, lo que ofrecen no sirve: ducha mala, paños que huelen feo y manchados, nosotros reservamos la suite, la ofrecen con tele y aire acondicionado y la de nosotros no tenía, luego dijeron que la otra es más cara... Cobran las habitaciones de acuerdo a su propia conveniencia. Mi amiga y su hija de 2 años reservó otra habitación y no tenía agua. Mi amiga fue a llamar a la casa principal y nadie le respondió. Nunca más en este lugar. Lástima, porque la ubicación es espectacular y la playa es preciosa. Creo que todos los puntos anteriores se pueden corregir con un poquito...
