Jungle Roost — Hotel in Quepos

This house in Manuel Antonio far exceeded our expectations. The owners Francesca and Ismael were fabulous hosts who have made sure the house is equipped with anything you can need during your stay (even the stuff you haven't thought about!).

It's a new, well kept home, with 3 floors, a pool and wrap-around balconies to enjoy the sunsets and animal watching. You have all the mod cons, and very strong WiFi and AC :)

The location was very central for getting to the beaches, the park and all the local cafes and restaurants. Francesca's a great source of knowledge of where to go and what to do, so we managed to fit in some very fun activities (Kayaks, Zip-line, Snorkeling, Boat trips).

The main stretch of Manuel Antonio is all along one long road, so get a decent car/SUV if you want to see everything. Read up on blogs about the park and the parking (plenty of scams going on) but its a great experience, and we have had the best trip.

I had an amazing experience at the Jungle Roost. The villa is beautiful, inside and out. Its gave me the opportunity to experience Costa Rican wildlife in a safe, peaceful and comfortable environment. Its extremely close to a beach, a variety of restaurants and a supermarket.

The villa had everything I needed and more. Strong WiFi, AC, a fully equipped kitchen, great selection of books, lovely pool, comfortable beds and a hammock on the balcony. Francesca was a incredible host, she made me feel welcome and at home the moment I arrived. She let me know where all the key places of interest are in the area and whenever I wanted to ask her for any advice during my stay she was very easy to reach. I felt well looked after.

This was my favourite stay in Costa Rica. Perfect host, villa and location. I hope to stay here again in the future...

This was our third time in Costa Rica and our second time in Manuel Antonio area… even though we were pretty familiar with everything in the region, our host Ismael was absolutely instrumental in the success of this family trip. Going above and beyond of any host we ever had, and we have stayed in dozens of places. The property is gorgeous and well maintened with everything you may need for your stay. You will be within minutes of restaurants, beaches, and many activities, yet you will feel secluded in the jungle. Plenty of wildlife on the property, and you will be greeted by different monkeys in the morning and throughout the day. Truly a 5 star experience and a...
