Tucked inside a boutique hotel on the road to Biesanz Beach, Terrazzo 77 is a hidden gem my wife and I discovered on New Year’s Eve. With modern decor accented by local influences, this farm-to-table style restaurant offers a dining experience that’s as beautiful as its breathtaking sunset views of the Pacific Ocean.

Owner Gustavo greeted us warmly during our meal, and the chef—a true craftsman—not only recommended an excellent wine pairing, but also ensured every detail of our meal was exactly to our liking. The first course, a mixed salad with greens, beets, cucumbers, and a vibrant vinaigrette, set the tone for a meal full of fresh, bold flavors.

For the main course, I enjoyed Mahi Mahi while my wife had tender chicken, both paired with a silky sweet potato puree spiced with ginger, topped with beets, and a tangy BBQ sauce drizzled on the side. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. We ended with a rich chocolate brownie topped with fruit ice cream, so delicious we couldn’t put our forks down.

Gustavo and his staff went above and beyond to make a picture-perfect romantic evening for us. The lovely receptionist who I met earlier at the coffee shop recommended a beach down the road and made us sunset reservations for a bespoke romantic dinner evening for my husband and I. We wish we had known about their rental rooms as it is probably the best view on the island and so peaceful away from the sound of the bars but waking distance to them. Everything in the 3 course meal was beyond fantastic - packed with flavor but not leaving you heavy! We saw monkeys , macaws, and toucans in the trees as the sun set and a whale in the bay! Magic...

This is a true hidden gem! I saw a sign on the side of the road and I am so glad we actually came here. The view is stunning, but the food is even better! The seafood is so fresh and delicious. The chef did a really splendid job. And the owners were very nice and welcoming as well.
