The landscape was beautiful seeing as we are in Costa Rica next to the beautiful beaches, and with high hopes and a hunger for good Italian pizza we were excited to satisfy our hunger. After reading reviews and seeing a good reaction to the restaurants food we made our way over to the area and were greeted kindly and seated promptly. This is where the review takes a turn, feeling hungry we ordered a Nutella focaccia, a mama Mia, and finally a gluten free 4 cheese pizza. When the food arrived it had no soul, you could tell that there was no pride and no love into these dishes, that it was only there to take the money of others. The Nutella focaccia- this was not a focaccia this was a pizza crust with just Nutella on the top. Not what I was expecting and not worth the price in the slightest. The mama Mia- the sauce had no depth and character, lacked fresh ingredients and was just sad. The four cheese- this pizza was horrible the flavor was worse than a frozen pizza In all the La Lambretta Pizzeria was not an Italian cuisine but an...
Read moreI’m genuinely disheartened to write this review. While I love the salads and pizza from this place, our most recent visit was disappointing. We brought our dogs along and were greeted by the same server as before (Milton, I believe). He initially claimed that “dogs require a vaccination card” and said it was a government requirement. This is not true.
I explained that the dogs had recently received their vaccinations, and we even offered to hold them in our arms. Then he said we needed an “emotional support certification.” It felt like a series of made-up requirements, rather than simply stating that pets are not allowed due to the restaurant’s policy.
No alternative was offered—no takeout, no outdoor seating, no solution. What made the situation worse was the server’s attitude. He acted as if I were attacking him, when in reality we were just questioning the inconsistencies and trying to find a way to have lunch at a place we...
Read moreThis was an Italian place that was recommended to us by some people we met while zip lining. it was so delicious and had such a fun atmosphere! It’s all mostly outside (again) and the weather was amazing! Apparently this restaurant has an amazing view, but we went when it was pitch black so we didn’t see the amazing view of the ocean. The mozzarella caprese was amazing! I’m a huge fan of Mozzarella Caprese and I love to get it wherever I go and this was delicious! We also ordered the lasagna and it was so flavorful and moist! The Fettuccine Alfredo which was so different, but so good! It had ham, spinach, and then even the sauce was different! It was a lot thinner and tasted a little different, but it was still amazing and definitely unlike anything I’ve ever had before! We all loved it! They had a ton of desserts, literally a whole page in the menu so...
