I had an AMAZING INTERACTIVE NATURE EXPERIENCE IN THIS QUIET BOUTIQUE HOTEL! | I had the best views of monkeys, birds, and iguanas ON THE PROPERTY! The property is immaculate! Lush flora is everywhere!| A quick walk to the beach and markets! I FELT VERY SAFE WALKING around at night! So many great food choices before you even hit the beach spots! A left turn takes you to Casa Esmerelda, which is a great Soda! I enjoyed a great breakfast personally made for me daily! | I am grateful to the owners WHO HELPED PULL OFF A TERRIFIC 60 th BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FOR ME! My travel agent Costa Rica Traveling Tours by Amanda booked my stay there initially. She then worked with the owners and my family to SURPRISE ME THERE ON THE LAST LEG OF MY 13 DAY TRIP! Unforgettable!| There's a mini supermarket and a small shopping plaza directly across the street from the hotel! There's fabulous ice cream and CAKES BY CHRISTIE! There's several markets and shopping options within 5 minutes walk. | The roads can be rocky. An ATV or 4x4 is best! The ATV tour was right at the corner and afterwards I rented an ATV for the next morning. We have stayed at numerous accommodations over the last twenty some years . From large resorts to small boutique to vrbo. And I can say that this boutique hotel is one of the absolute best we have stayed at. The owners are exceptional in every way imaginable. All of their suggestions for things to do as well as restaurants to eat at have been absolutely bang on perfect. The owners are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make sure that everything is as close to perfect as possible. We are here for one more night. 5 nights in total. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and the room was like brand new. Pool right outside our door. The breakfasts were fantastic. The breakfast is at a cost of 12$ USD. Huge variety of food every day. Rooms are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone! Would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area. Hotel di piccole dimensioni costituito da alcuni edifici che si dispongono sul crinale di una collinetta a circa 10-20 mt di altezza rispetto alla cittadina.||Si tratta di una vecchia struttura riadattata da una coppia di tedeschi e riambientata piantumando con piante tropicali tutte le potenziali aree verdi ed installando una piccola piscina che però non ho frequentato.||Le camere sono allineate lungo un piccolo vialetto in mezzo al verde e sono abbastanza grandi, con ventola al soffitto, aria condizionata, cassaforte a combinazione, armadio a giorno, tv a schermo piatto.||Davanti all'ingresso un piccolo patio con amaca.||Il bagno con doccia in stile classico è semplice ed è disponibile un asciugacapelli, cosa relativamente rara.||In generale tutta la struttura è curata e pulita, seguita probabilmente con grande attenzione e puntualità.||Si riconosce in tutto una certa impronta Europea di qualità.||I prezzi però non sono da poco 101 Eur la quotazione di oggi di Expedia.||Frequentato prevalentemente da tedeschi, qualche francese e clientela americana.||Il locale breakfast si trova su di una zona sopraelevata dello stabile coperta da una tettoia con larghe finestre che permettono di osservare la cittadina ed il mare.||L'assortimento della colazione è premiante: molta frutta, dolci, pane tostato, omelette o semplicemente cereali e latte. Quasi tutto è self-service (vedi foto).||Segnale wi-fi altalenante in camera e persino nella sala colazioni, resta accettabile solo nei pressi della Reception che però non si presta a stazionare se non su di una panchina avanti l'ingresso.||La moglie del proprietario è molto simpatica, gioviale ed efficiente e cura particolarmente assieme al giovane figlio le relazioni con la clientela.||Come spesso avviene in America Centrale ci si rivolge agli Hotel per le escursioni.||La signora sembra molto bene informata sulle possibilità turistiche locali e credo le abbia in un certo senso " selezionate".||Mi ha, per esempio, commissionato un tour per snorkeling e osservazione delfini che si è rivelato di ottimo livello ad un prezzo leggermente superiore alla concorrenza, ma senza dubbio di ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzi.||Purtroppo non mi è stato possibile invece partecipare alle passeggiate a cavallo sulla spiaggia di Carrillo perché solo e senza partecipanti. (quelle organizzate in loco sono meno valide).||Essendo l' albergo in posizione un pò defilata rispetto alla cittadina sarebbe bello che disponga di qualche bicicletta da affittare perché aiuterebbe i clienti.||I noleggi in zona sembrano più interessati a vendervi Quad, moto o scooter.||Alla reception una giovane stagista tedesca arrivata da 15 gg al momento della mia vista, non ancora esperta completamente della struttura, ma con tanta...
