La Perla de la Playa Beachfront Hotel — Hotel in Tamarindo

Seriously, I just spent a few days chilling at Hotel Perla de la Playa... and two words, that's all you need: complete paradise. Now, hold up, we're not talkin' massive, sprawling resort kinda paradise. Nope. This spot? Quaint. Clean. Cute as hell. And for right now? Kind of a semi-secret little gem.||First off, location, location, location, right? This place? Prime. You literally take a few steps and BAM! Beach. Or, same thing, a few steps the other way and you're in town. Food's right there. Ocean's even closer.||And the staff? Seriously friendly... and they actually get stuff done, you know? Efficient.||Okay, okay, saving the best bit for last... The bar. At sunset? Forget about it. You won't find a better view, not even on one of those old-school postcards. Yeah, I know, postcards aren't really a thing anymore, but this place? It might just bring 'em back.||And the bartender? My absolute favorite. Kevin? That dude is the man. Just fun to be around, makes a killer drink, and knows everything about the area. Seriously, if I owned a bar? I'd be like, 'Kevin, you're the manager now. This is a piece of heaven, a true gem. It might not look that much from the street, but when you enter and see the garden and the beach, just amazing. We cancelled our others hotels we had booked and stayed here longer instead, almost two weeks. From the room it takes 30 seconds to be on the beach. And you can sit and relax in the green garden watching the waves and look at the sunset without having to fight with the crowds on the beach. The staff is amazing, it’s so clean and wonderful, and you can borrow surf boards, games, books and cook your own food overlooking the beach in a lovely outdoor kitchen. The staff helped us so much when we had problems with transportation, they are lovely. Thank you Elena, Ciara, Esteban! Everything about this place is marvelous. We’ve been around the world a lot, and to have a room with this view, the best beds, perfect AC and cleanest toilet ever was fantastic. If you want to stay in Tamarindo, close to the beach, this is your place, walking distance to everything. It’s so calm and relaxing, they even have a guard watching...

Villa Amarilla is a home, a place where you arrive and which one you do not want to leave. From the first moment you feel completely taken care of and comfortable. The magical hotel, right on the beach is a dream for surfers. Directly at the surf spot you get in the morning coffee and the incredibly delicious homemade banana bread; check the waves and clamp your board under your arm and go for a morning surf. The delicious breakfast is available to surfers from sunrise. The wonderful rooms, each individually decorated with a lot of love and imagination, are super clean, comfortable, bright. It feels like being in your own home. Like a large family villa with private access to the beach. Just unbelievable! The beautiful green garden, the sound of the sea and people in a good mood. I did not meet anyone who did not leave with tears eyes.||Of course, this is not just the location and the charming house. Above all, the main reason, are the owners, which make your stay to one of your unique stays ever. TJ and Cindy are the most magnanimous and lovley persons I meet on my many journeys. They do not just manage a hotel, they manage a special place where people not only meet, they become friends for life. Many thanks for the unique and magnificent stay. Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich rundum versorgt und wohl.||Das zauberhafte Hotel, direkt am Strand ist ein Traum für Surfer. Direkt am Surf Spot holt man sich in der Früh Kaffee und das phantastische hausgemachte Bananenbrot, checkt die Wellen und klemmt sich sein Brett unterm Arm und los geht’s. Denn das leckere Frühstück steht für die Surfer schon ab Sonnenaufgang bereit. Die wundervollen Zimmer, jedes individuell mit viel Liebe und Phantasie eingerichtet, sind super sauber, bequem, hell. Man fühlt sich wie in den eigenen vier Wänden. Wie eine große Familienvilla mit privatem Zugang zum Strand. Einfach unglaublich. Der schöne grüne Garten, Meeresrauschen und stetig gut gelaunte Menschen. Ich habe keinen getroffen, wer nicht mit einem tränenden Auge abgereist ist.||Das liegt natürlich nicht nur an der Lage und das zauberhafte Haus. Vor allem hat man seinen einzigartigen Aufenthalt den Besitzern zu verdanken. TJ und Cindy sind die großherzigsten und großzügigsten Menschen, denen ich auf meinen vielen Reisen begegnen dürfte.
