While exploring the beauty of Costa Rica, we discovered Flora’s while renting surf equipment and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. The smoothies were nothing short of amazing—vibrant, fresh, and bursting with tropical flavor. You could taste the care in every sip, with ingredients that felt both nourishing and indulgent.

What made the experience even more special was knowing we were supporting another local vegan woman business committed to wellness, sustainability, and conscious living. The owner Flora was warm and her staff cheerful. It felt good to align our values with our vacation, and Flora’s made that effortless.

This vegan restaurant exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The staff was genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.

Every dish was a work of art—bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you're vegan or not, the creativity and care in each bite will blow you away. The menu had a great balance of comforting classics and bold, innovative dishes. I especially loved Coliflower tacos —it was AMAZING!

This is my favorite restaurant of about 1000 restaurants in Tamarindo. Why? Because it’s locally owned. It’s delicious. It’s beautiful and open air with a lovely breeze. It has a lovely back story. It’s in a perfect location; you can see the ocean while you eat. I had the best avocado toast of my life here. And then there is the waitress, Wendy, who is an absolute doll. She asked for my name and used it. She smiles and is friendly. She is positive energy and light. And this restaurant is nice reprieve from the high end American owned restaurants that feed overly rich Americans while keeping local Costa Ricans who work in them poor.

The restaurant is 100% vegan and 100% delicious. (Yes, even non-vegans will enjoy it!)
