Nirvana Boutique Villas — Hotel in Tamarindo

Each Nirvana villa is like an ultra-sleek home built in Marbella, but located in Tamarindo. Clean lines mixed with funky architectural accents and simple furniture choices create a mid-century modern feel that is as fun to enjoy in-person as it is in pictures. We enjoyed every aspect of Nirvana, and the attention to detail was unparalleled. (Our pool was cleaned 2x daily, and cleaning services are offered daily). In addition, the luggage of one guest in our party completely broke en-route to Tamarindo and the owner went above and beyond, providing us a backup suitcase so we could easily make it back to the US.

The complex is centrally located and great for families or groups of friends who don't want to be bogged down by golf cart or car rentals. Though, I would not recommend Nirvana to those groups that are rowdy or want to stay up and enjoy the outdoor area late into the night. While the complex feels very private, each villa is situated close together, so quiet hours are monitored - with groups asked to be indoors by 10PM.

Our 3-bedroom / 3-bathroom villa had two bedrooms with en-suites. Premium soaps were provided, and each bedroom had a desk area, with firm king-sized beds. The common area had a large couch, a smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen.

Each pool is private to each villa. Ours was relaxing at all hours of the day, with ample shading in the two lounge areas adjacent to the pool.

The complex provides full concierge services via WhatsApp. However, to note, all activities booked via this service are settled up at the end of the stay in cash. As such, in order to combat ATM issues in Costa Rica, bring plenty of USD for...

The stay at NIrvana surpassed our expectations. This is our second time in Costa Rica and our first to Tamarindo. I know Tamarindo is a younger scene and a surf town so I didn’t know what to expect from a service standpoint. Upon arrival we were shown through the house and everything was explained. Complimentary beer and fruit was provided. The turn down service everyday was a very nice touch and the house was cleaned everyday. Very close proximity to great dining and beach. I highly recommend staying here and we will be again if we travel...

Such an awesome spot for our family trip to Tamarindo! The villas are beautiful, very friendly service, cleaned every day. Perfect location too, we didn’t need a rental car and just walked everywhere. It was way nicer than a high end hotel. I’d highly recommend. Thank you Nirvana for making our family...
