Himalayan Hostel — Hotel in City of Zagreb

I came to this hostel last year for the first time and really enjoyed staying here! I was especially very impressed by the hospitality of the owner and staff! Since then, I have been longing to visit them again, and I made it!

I met a lot of fellow travellers here and exchanged travel tips and information. Some of them became my good friends.

Every time I come here, my original stay has been extended. 3 days become 5 days, 1 week, 2 weeks... it's a very homy atmosphere and hard to leave. I feel this is my home away from home.

I like they change linen every 3 days when I stay longer. They maintain the premise very clean.

Thank you Pasang and all staff to have this hostel in Zagreb! Look forward to staying...

They don’t use mattress protectors!!!!!!!!!!EW!!!!!!! Totally unsanitary especially in an era of monkeypox & Covid-19!! Entire hostel has a strong and unpleasant scent… Shower heads are very! very! very! calcified… So much so, it is shocking that they haven’t at least attempted to tie a bag around them with vinegar. Reception seems quite exhausted & frantic, hinting at potential mismanagement. Good location though. Don’t think I would recommend to a woman, but...

Nice location, decent and clean rooms. The receptionist was very helpful too. The private room was a little cramped, TV remote didn't work properly. The curtains can be a little opaque as they looked very transparent. There was some construction going in front so there was a little noise and early morning movements. But worth the price...
