Loox Serviced Apartments (Pavla Hatza) — Hotel in City of Zagreb

This is a nightmare apartment with the healthcare hazard. It should never been listed as a commercial hospitality place. I booked this apartment one night through the Expedia. The apartment is not well maintained in a dirty and rundown building and is very small. The shower pan was turning black from white color. The shower area are full of yellow and black stains which are possibly mold. When we pull out of the sofa bed, there were several disgusting stains, which prompted us to look at the bed and pillows and pillows underneath the sheet cover. Horribly, we found stains, and hairs everywhere. Each pillow had so many yellow stains that look like a map. When asked the owner, Marija, how can people sleep on those dirty beds and pillows, she told me that she just need to put one more layer of cover. I was stunned and speechless. I would have given the room a higher rating because it was nice as described but there is something anyone looking needs to be aware of. The window treatments look nice but they are basically transparent. Sun rises at 5am in June and the room becomes fully lit. If that doesn't bother you fine, but we typically like a darker room for sleeping. (Added note, after seeing this the owner said there are external blinds on windows. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Very freindly welcome and pre arrival communication on timing was good and clear to arrange check in.

15 minute walk from the bus station and 10 minutes to the main square.

Highly recommended.
