Guesthouse Komfor Moča — Hotel in Grad Makarska

This family-owned modern place is located on the main coastal road from Split to Dubrovnik. There is a vast parlking area just below the building. This is a no frill hotel but with a friendly welcome. They even serve you a welcoming drink upon arrival like in Asia ! There are 3 floors with no elevator but the stairs are wide and easy. I asked for a room with a view and this is what I got. A really nice view over the town, the bay, the mountains and the far-off islands. The room was basic but fine. The A/C was not working but leaving the window open provided a nice sea-breeze. The bathroom was clean and modern and provided all the usual amenities despite its small size. WiFi is everywhere and really excellent. They also have a restaurant and a bar on the ground-floor. Breakfast in the morning is brought to the table and was fine. A nice place to stay to visit the beautiful area and the lovely seaside town of Makarska. But it is better to have a car...

We stayed one night at this lovely hotel in Croatia and absolutely loved every moment. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made our experience special was the staff, especially Sanja (I hope I’m spelling that right!).

She was incredibly warm and friendly, made us feel right at home, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and energy added such a personal touch to our stay.

This is a suitable accommodation for a few days in Makarska for both singles and couples or larger groups. Great location; everything is close; right next to the hotel is Studenac Market, and other shops and the beach are close by. For those with autos, there is a large area in front of the building to park your car. The facility is very clean and well-kept. In the morning (07:00-09:30) good breakfasts are served.
