Beware and watch out

Pizza was good, really. No question about that. They made us wait for quite a bit before it arrived, but the place was crowded, so we didn't mind.

It's not the pizza. It's the drinks. My girlfriend asked if they have any cocktails, the waitress, never losing a smile on her face, said they have their own, in-house, cocktail, really good, etc and she was very insistent that we try it. My girlfriend did order the drink, which I never found on the menu and presumed the price was around 5 to 7 euro, average price for a cocktail at a not very fancy or luxury place. Because the cocktail was good and because we waited for the pizza for more than 30 mins. (again, we're ok with that), we ordered another cocktail for my girlfriend....

They charged us 20 Euros for the two cocktails. 20! The waitress never warned us that their allegedly so special and unique drink would be that expensive. Everything else was well within the price range for the place itself and Croatia, but cocktail for 10 Euros? I mean, pizza comes in at 11.5, beer at around 3-3.5 And then, the cocktail? Nothing fancy, 10 Euros? If you have such a price and it's off the menu, be so kind as to at least warn us. I honestly and genuinely believe this is a scam.

Very, very disappointed and feeling scammed. I think when there's another pizzeria right across the street (not advertising, so no name mentioned), you have to try harder and you definitely should not be dishonest with...

The service. My God, the service.

The waitstaff acted like they were being punished for simply existing, let alone doing their jobs. Rude, inattentive, and with an attitude so sour it could curdle fresh cream. It felt like asking for a glass of water was equivalent to slapping their grandma. At one point, I genuinely wondered if I had accidentally insulted someone’s entire bloodline just by showing up hungry.

It’s baffling how a place that gets it so right in the kitchen can drop the ball so hard out on the floor. Honestly, the staff seem like they’re one spilled drink away from a full-blown breakdown —...

This is our 6th time in Makarska. We went only to this pizzeria, because the pizza was veeery good. We were a few days ago and the waiter was absolutely unfriendly. We waited for a bill very long. I asked at the bar for an invoice and they said "you must wait". We waited 30 min. NOT GOOD. But the best thing was today. We wanted to order big pizza (XXL jumbo, 60 cm, 77 kunas, at the restaurant), the waiter asked or we want something to drink. We didn't want! He asked once again, we said "no, thank you". He said, that we can order a pizza takeaway (45 cm, 3 kunas less than 60 cm). We said "NO, WE WANT TO EAT HERE, WE WANT PIZZA 60 CM, NOT 45". He said, that we MUST order something to drink. If not, he can't take our order. THIS IS INSOLENT !

Za kazdym razem bylismy tez zadowoleni z pizzy, juz teraz wiem, dlaczego - bo zamawialismy pizze i napoj. Dzis poszlismy do pizzerii po raz kolejny, wieczorem, nie tak goracym jak zawsze i nie chcialo nam sie pic. Chcielismy zamowic pizze xxl jumbo za 77 kun (60 cm, na miejscu). Bezczelny kelner spytal, czy chcemy cos do picia, na co odpowiedzielismy, ze nie, dziekujemy. Na co on ponowil pytanie. Odmowilismy. Kelner powiedzial cos w stylu "jesli nie bierzecie napoi, macie wziac pizze na wynos (45cm w cenie 74 kuny) i spi*. Poszlam do kasy, ponownie chcac zamowic pizze BEZ NAPOI. Znow odmowa. Jaki z tego wniosek? Albo bierzesz pizze na wynos, 15 cm mniejsza za prawie ta sama cene, albo bierzesz pizze na miejscu i NAPOJ...
