I was staying here with my wife and our kid for a week in July. The location, cleanliness, food and the overall quality of the rooms were good but on the other hand it was very expensive. We arrived early but everyone was helping us to get a room as soon as possible. The attitude of the staff, especially at the reception was very unfriendly. We were not getting any help with our luggage, they handed over the keys for the room and were pointing towards the elevator... During our whole stay we were constantly feeling a negative discrimination mainly because we had only a standard room and we were not arriving with a fancy car. They offered a parking spot only on the street which was not free claiming their spots are full but in reality these were reserved for the guests staying in more expensive rooms. Before our arrival I was contacting the hotel several times regarding the parking possibilities because I red a lot of complaints about this. They confirmed that there will be no problem with parking. In reality there was only about 20 spots available for the 130 rooms. I noticed several times that the hotel was reserving the spots for the guests arriving with expensive cars. When I was complaining about this I was told that they don't have a reservation system because it would be unfair with the guests. So they were obviously lying to me.I was told that they have an another parking lot available in about 5 minute drive which requires approx a half an hour walk back to the hotel. (if we were lucky and there was a free spot) I would strongly suggest to the Hotel that during main season they should notify their guest about the parking possibilities which is not fully handled currently because it was very annoying for us that we were being sent to a parking lot far away from the hotel after a 9 hour drive with a kid. Basically the parking in general is a nightmare in general during the main season. Another problem that the staff was not treating kids appropriately. Basically they were completely ignoring us a lot of times.
I would recommend this hotel only for the ones who are willing to pay extra for a suite or at least for a room with a view and they have attractive cars. For sure we will never stay here again mainly because of the attitude of the staff and the...
Read moreA very disappointing stay at this hotel recently. I would class it as a three star, and not above. I also think there has been some very clever marketing for the website which gives a false representation in some cases.|We certainly saw no linen on the tables, morning or evening. It was just like a canteen. The public area in reception is not filled with numerous comfy chairs, but taken up mostly with chunky foam modular seating.|Specific: The evening meal was very mediocre and comprised of lukewarm food which we collected on plates which were cold. Not very tasty, although the salmon did taste of soap! We greatly missed the variety which is generally available when we travel in Europe, especially tasty fresh salads. After two nights, we decided to cut our losses and use our holiday spends to eat out and have our evening meal in town. The ‘hot’ food at breakfast was in a similar vein and was lukewarm and again on cold plates.|The layout of the dining room encompasses far too many tables and it was often very difficult to navigate our way back to our table.|The allocation of sun beds around the pool was ill thought out too. There is no-one monitoring the situation and it was very chaotic. The sun beds are unlocked at 8am and, even if we queued up just after 7am, we weren’t always guaranteed one of them. On one afternoon, I counted 33 sun beds with towels on them and only 4 people in the pool, leaving 29 unused but not available for others. The only alternative is to pay 12 Euros each per day for a sun bed on a small packed beach in front of the hotel, with no shade.|Also, the pool bar was closed for the entire duration of our holiday.|I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a great pity to be so disappointed when holidays are so precious.|This hotel seems more interested in cramming in as many people as possible in order to make as much money as it can. Their facilities do not match up to the number of rooms...
Read moreI reserved a room through booking, to relax with my family for 5 people. I wrote to them before arriving at the hotel to clarify the price that the booking had set for my search on the booking, and they confirmed the final price according to the price list on the booking.
Upon arrival at the hotel at the reception, I informed them that I had reserved a room through booking and specified the price that was displayed at the booking, they confirmed my reservation and the price that was displayed by booking, and told me to pay when I check out of the room.
We were settled near the entrance to the elevators, in the evening and at night it is difficult to relax, and even more so to fall asleep, since the bodice that was behind the wall constantly drove and the mechanism was triggered, which could be heard through the wall.
When we checked out of the hotel at the reception we were told to pay an additional € 750, what the hell did I say?! What should I pay extra for? To which they replied: for one more person.
I told them and showed them at the booking my reservation and the price that I had previously negotiated, to which they replied to me: there is no indication of the price for which additional person.
I said it again and showed that there were 5 people in one big room. I didn't want to argue with them any further and not bring the situation to the police call, since I was with the children and didn't want to be completely disappointed in the vacation.
It was the worst service in my life in my life, as I understood it, I was not the first one who fell for their offer.
Even when I contacted the support service at the booking, the booking support service told me that they called the hotel and asked about my problem, to which the hotel replied: when checking into the hotel, they warned me about the additional payment of 750€.
I realized that I had fallen for the trick of the mosheniks. I do not recommend this...
