Stayed here under the impression I was staying at Villa Diana which looks lovely, make sure you are reading the right reviews...Arrived, they took photographs of our passports (?) and went through a map which was helpful....and then we were put in a tiny room with 2 single beds, when I questioned this they said I had paid the lowest amount so this was the room, it was only when I produced the printed booking form showing I had paid for a double room, sea view with balcony and a higher amount that they agreed they had got it wrong. We were then put in a basic, cleanish room with a laughable sea view (as in invisible) |It is very far from Zadar old town but close to the sea. |There was red wax (I think) all up the bedroom wall and door and the shower ran warm for around 5 mins at a time....the kitchenette was a fridge. So double check this when booking. |When we left they knocked at 10am saying it was check out time but on my booking confirmation it said 10.30am but they said "house rules" |The receptionist then gave us the bill that they had transferred into the local currency and insisted we could only pay cash, this meant we actually ended up paying £10 (on top of the city tax) extra |Overall, on a 7 country tour this was our least positive hotel experience and we would...
Read moreTerrible place! The owner rude from the very beginning. Grace makes us even come. Apartamnet not thoroughly cleaned, dirt on the tiles, the shower is leaking, the toilet flush is jammed. On the booking.com website it is announced that there is a hair dryer, microwave, and working air conditioning. There is neither a hair dryer nor a microwave on site. Air conditioning works very loud. The apartments have not been renovated for 30 years ... We are 3 days and no one has changed the sheets or provided fresh towels. There is a TV but no remote for it. The kettle starts automatically and boils water over and over again.
I advise against anyone staying in this place. I have been to 3 star apartments in Spain, Greece, Turkey and there has never been such a drama. This thing barely deserves two stars.

We have no replacement rooms, please look for other accommodation. Cancellation is free. I'm calling you but the cell phone is off." We have arrived on the evening.
