Fabulous choice for top class Indian cuisine with authentic ambience and staff in full dress to complement the atmosphere! Very warm welcome when we arrived with friend for our first visit on their recommendation and not disappointed. Living in Pomos the journey to Paphos with a crafty Gin break in Kathikas took us about an hour and half but the views down to Coral Bay were stunning as the sun set, and the occasion and food was worth every minute of the drive! Easy to find, good parking availability and as a chilly March evening we were inside which added to the atmospheric occasion. The presentation for the food was traditional and kept the food warm through the meal. On arrival and after ordering we were given Poppadums and delightful sides which were very tasty. We were then given complimentary onion bahji’s which were best I’ve ever had! The menu was very comprehensive and laid out in a fashion to make it easy to find your favorites or choose a new dish to try with excellent descriptions! What was a really good option was for the main dishes where you could order a starter portion for €8.95 (don’t be fooled it was a good size) or a main portion for €12.95, this enabled us ladies to go for the starter portion and the men had the main portion and order sides as well knowing we would find room for it all … well nearly as generous portions ensued! The guys had Chicken Madras, I had Chicken Tikka Masala and my friend had Chicken Kashmiri and they were so tasty we all are every bit! Everything including the sides of Bombay Potatoes, Sahg Ganeer with yummy cheese cooked to perfection, mushroom rice topped with crispy onion and garlic naan’s were tweaked to perfection and amazing. Desserts of Ice Cream and a lovely Mango and Yoghurt during completed a memorable meal! Cannot wait to return to work my way...

The worst experience I've had in a restaurant. The manager made me feel very unwelcome! She spoke to me like I was a 12 year old. A/C wasn't working, we had a fan pointing at us only to be moved to another table which already had 4 fans ! Felt very uncomfortable!!! When addressing the issue to the dragon manager, she was very rude !!! I've never been spoken to in that manner before... It's as though she had a narcissistic personality by making out that I had the problem... Please ma'am, I'm a paying customer FFS!!! As for the food, what can I say... BLAND ... Ordered and mixed meat platter. I could not identify one of the cuts of meat. It was supposed to be Lamb Tikka but it had beef like texture... Tasted OFF, very tangy!!! Never before have I tasted something like that . Getting back to the management, she ruined my holiday! I'm in the dog house for no reason and it's all my fault!!! For this restaurant to succeed, they need to address the staff with a attitude problem... Makes me wonder how people get away with it and how they get away with speaking to paying customers in that manner. Been to a few restaurants in Paphos, and the level of service we have received has been exceptional... This dragon has ruined everything!!! Mr owner, please contact me!!! Just feel really disrespected.... I'm even thinking about the colour of my skin may have triggered her attitude problem.... Just can't get over her stinking behaviour ... How dare she treat me like that Infront of my family!!!?

What can I say about Poppadums Indian restaurant, the poppadums came in half and I like mine whole, unless they were whole and we just had twice as many then whoop whoop, the Nan breads we had 4 times as many as we ordered, unless they were cut into quarters, but I like mine whole.

Not to sure what I ordered because I honestly have no idea how to pronounce it let alone spell it, but the rice had nuts.

The staff were very attentive, and never had set tables and reminded me of Indian chickens with no heads, although I don't think we saw any Indians in the building, it may have been because we were sat in the red light district which I though was in Amsterdam.

Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, maybe Karen has given multiple reviews on the same place, I stand by my 5 stars, but if I could have given 6 I wouldn't because it doesn't let me so I gave it 5.

As you can see this is just for giggles, the restaurant was fantastic and food was excellent, the portions were huge and we even got the food we did not finish packed so we could bring it back and eat....5 stars all the way.

Here is a pic of the poppadums, you tell me if they are halvesor twice as many wholes, my fiancée (with 2 e's) was really happy with the amount so I think she thought there were twice as many poppadums, because she likes them whole aswell, how do you like...
