Im going to be completely honest an start with the positives. Firstly from outside an in reception this place looks lovely. In fact we visit ayia napa every year and the reason we came here this year is we ate in frankies last year an I used the toilet here an it looked lovely an luxurious which is what the name of the place states. "Luxury suites"| | Reception staff are all very nice and an extra special mention to the old guy who works nights. Such a pleasant happy person and always always spoke to us on our return from an evening meal out with the family. My only complaint is being messed around a little the last day when asked for 1 room out of our 3 rooms for late checkout an going down at 9am to be told come back again at 10.30am. This doesn't leave a lot of time to be able to then get out the rooms by 12 noon. But a room was available which we paid the 50 euro to keep till 6 of which I was grateful. But could really do with knowing the day before so dont have to wait wondering on ur last day.||Food available was fine. Plenty of choice. Restuarant inside an outdoor eating area is very clean an plenty of choice. Absolutely no complaints| We also ate in frankies of which u get 10 percent discount if staying in the hotel an it was brilliant. We went in there 3 times an cannot fault. Great food and service.||Now for the negatives. Im not going to say this hotel isn't the star rating it is because majority of it is. However what really let's this place down are the cleaners an cleanliness. We stayed in room 132 a one bed apartment . On first impressions great however the first night my son woke me up as he had a cockroach crawling on him. We turned on.the light an the size of the cockroach was huge. Tried to get it but it scuttled of under the fridge. We didnt think much of it altho not a pleasant experience but the next morning there were several dead ones in our corridor by various rooms. I wish I could say this was the end of it but it so wasn't we were plagued by them l| Several in bathroom. Several under sink in kitchen they just kept coming. I told the cleaner and she knew exactly what we meant she would say yes bugs again I will spray. They would spray the room an this would bring them out an then they would die an we would be ok for 24 hrs but low and behold more would come back. I got sick of it an reported it to reception who said they would keep inspecting our room! If they did i was never there . I also spoke to a few families in same corridor as 132 an they had same issues. I know these are there but in 14 times of coming to ayia napa I have only ever seen a couple an have stayed in many hotels the nestor. Sandra napa. Alexia. Anesis an nelia beach| Never had an issue. This wasn't just the odd one there was an infestation an you could clearly smell the insecticide sprayed all the time to try treat it. |The cleaners are not pleasant at all in fact quite snotty when I kept asking them. In an 11 night stay they left me 1 toilet roll 3 times between 3 of us. I had to ask several times for a toilet roll and went to the shop at least 3 times to buy some which u should not have to do! Same with towels there were 3 in the room an we hardly ever were left with 3 towels when I asked the cleaner it was like I was asking for the world. Tutting at me. Its not too much to ask to just have enough toilet roll an a clean towel per person each day! Our bathroom in room 132 was also not to the standard it should be for a 4 star. Mould all over the wall an skirting by the shower. I will include a picture. Not just a bit quite a lot. At the end of our corridor by the door to the pool someone had been sick assuming it was a child as looked like chocolate milkshake. it was honestly there for 4 days. What made it worse the cleaners were passing it daily even putting the cleaning trolley by it an it only got cleaned up when I told them please clean it has visibly been there gor 4 days . It did get cleaned eventually but again you shouldn't have to ask|Several people around the pool were talking about it. (See photo) An lastly also there was what I believe to be cat poo which hadn't been washed away when the cleaners had been cleaning the pool. My room was directly by pool I watched every morning the pool area being hosed down. On goin onto the sunbeds early one morning I lay down an could smell what smelt like poo when I looked it was on the floor by my lounger. The cleaners had only just left. I had to go buy a bottle of water an some wipes from bakery at front of hotel an clean it up an wash the floor down. ( again pic inlcuded) This should not be happening. It is classed as luxurious but the cleanliness in some places clearly lets it down the cleaners are letting the place down. |Would I stay again sorry but no my family had 2 rooms in block 3 which were 3106 and 3108 which were visibly a lot more modern an cleaner than our 132 apartment of which we paid a lot more for than they did!||Would i stay again unfortunately not as ive said many positives lovely staff apart from cleaners and lovely reception area an frankies an food restaurant| But the severity of the cockroaches really ruined my holiday I could not.sleep for fear of them crawling on me with how many there were an also the cleanliness in room an certain areas not good enough. My elderly parents stayed in room 3108 an twice they had to ring reception also to say they had not been left clean towels. Read moreBig disappointment! This place calls itself "luxury" but there is not even one luxury or lavish thing in this simple apart-hotel. The staff are not friendly and not professional and always give you the feeling you are bothering them. We booked 3 rooms all of them same size. We got one very small room, and they refused to give us refund for the different and didn't change this room because the hotel was full. Also, in another room we asked for one big bed and we got a room with two single beds. First night the women in the reception ignore our complain, second day the house made came with a super thin mattress and covered the 2 beds with it. The bed felt like we were in the army. The air condition in our bedroom did not work well. We notice the reception but no one came to try and fix it. 2 maintenance amployees of the hotel came from other reason to our room 2 days after, smell heavily from cigarettes, enter the room without even asking us if it's a good time for us. When we told them about the air condition problem they were arguing with us that it is working. Then they strat to fix something in the kitchen, we didnt ask for, and made lots of noise and when we ask them how long it will take they said "you can go to the swimming pool in the mean time, we don't know". When we checked in they demend we pay all the amount of our stay in advance (for 3 rooms we booked), not really luxury hotel procedure, and for sure give you the feeling they want the money in advance because they know you will be disappointed from the room, and we were. The rooms were functional and we weren't so enchanted by them, to say the least. The sofa in the living room was so uncomfortable we made it a hanger for our clothes during our stay. The windows are made of super thin glass and during the day the room is super noisy from the swimming pool and at night its noisy from the next door amusing park, and from the night singer in the hotel restaurant we could barely sleep. Also the front door of all the apartments can not block the noise from the corridor and when we sat in our room we could here people talking and children screaming in the corridor like it was inside our bedroom, it was awful. The kitchen is nice to have, but they don't provide you even the minimum of coffee/tea or sugar, and for "luxury" place you would accept to have an espresso machine nowadays, of course here they don't. The cleaning person's do the minimum and even less. For 5 nights no one cleaned the cups and dishes in our kitchen.. Usually we would do it by ourselves, but we didnt have soap for the dishes, when we ask for it, they send us to buy it from the hotel supermarket. The wifi was absolutely terrible in the entire hotel, our 3 rooms were in diferente locations in the hotel, and all of them had lousy internet connection, that was very slow and was disconnected all the time, don't count on watching Netflix in your compute. The breakfast is simple and most of the food they served in the buffet has no taste at all. The coffee is undrinkable (probably because they want you to spend more money and to buy coffee at the hotel coffee shop), The vegetables are not fresh and the prepared omlete taste like rubber. Lots of things in the buffet ran out during the morning, and if no one ask, they don't bother to refill it. The only nice person there,was the room attendant of our last day. She was smiling and was shocked no one clean the dishes or at least gave us soap for the dishes throughout our stay. Read morelousy hotel - not luxury at all - this place is nothing more then a lousy simple apart hotel in Cyprus. This hotel would probably get more then the worse mark if they were only honest. It is totally not a luxury hotel, not a 5 stars hotel, not even 4 stars hotel. And to market and promote yourself as a luxury place it is basically a big lie. The hotel itself located in the heart of the night life of aiya napa. It is about 10 to 15 minutes driving from the main beaches, but sohrended by restaurants and luna Park. We booked 3 suites for the family. 2 of them were big, one of them was just a regular studio room. The hotel facilities are totally super simple: the doors made of simple wood, the windows /doors for the terrace or outside has NO double glass so all day long up to midnight it is super super noisy. Our rooms were in different sides of the apart hotel, so the noise was all over. The breakfast which was served in the hotel has a big verity of simple food :nothing special that reminds luxury hotel or even not a nice Cafe. Talking about coffee, the coffee that is served in breakfast is weak and not tasty at all. For capuucino or Cafe late you have to go to the next by Gloria Cafe (and pay extra of course for the coffee). The apartments itself has no facilities that remind a nice hotel, not even a liquid to make your own dishes neither dish washer. When we asked for that we got an answer to buy it in the supermarket.. There is no espresso Machine in the room, or anything that reminds high end style or nice places. Some of the provided towels were dirty. We had ants in our room and some parts of the room were dirty as well.
We had 2 single beds even we asked for a double bed in advance. They merged it to us for one bed only in the second day! The bed itself is like in high school, and not a high standard at all. Lousy bad, lousy hotel. I attach here photos so you can judge yourself.
The air condition was working really low, and when we asked for someone to fix it, a smoking guy arrived to our room and couldn't do anything.
And again, the noise, the noise. The weak wood made us hear everything (!) from the hall and the hotel is a big noisy place.
On check in we had to pay the full amount for all rooms (which is probably a nice way to charge the money before we saw the lousy rooms, so we can't ask for refund or regret)...
The service by the staff was mostly very profesional but not friendly at all.
Truly, I was around the world in more then 500 hotels. This place is no more then basic, in the US it wouldn't call more then a simple guest house, in West of Europe it could be 2 or 3 stars hotel maximum but here in Cyprus because there is no regulation for hotels industry, they call themselves a luxury place which is absoulotly false and a big lie.
