It was very unpleasant experience since we entered the restaurant. We steped in and we got ,,are you guys ok?” instead of ,,hello” or ,,welcome”. The hostess was totally confused, she did not know where to place us in almost empty restaurat. When she finaly decided, she left us in the middle of the way to our table. It was just something arround 8 pm and there was no line of waiting customers on the enterance.

When we were ordering food and drinks, waiter told us, that they do not have any draft beers from the menu, only bottles. I ordered rhubarb and ginger gin & tonic and I was pretty surprised what I have found in my glass. Usually there are some herbs, fruits and spices in such a coctails. There was a big slice of red bell pepper and some aniseeds in my g&t. I never saw bell pepper in combination with alcohol, maybe it is some new trend.

After we finished ordering, the first waiter left us one paper menu, in case we would like to have a look again. In 30 seconds after he left, another waitress came and took the menu and shrugged it on her way somewhere else.

We ordered some steamed edamame beans to start and two sushi boats for 4 people. Food was good, fresh fish, maybe the rolls are little bit too small.

As soonest we took last piece of sushi from the boat they imediately took the boats away. We kept eating edamame beans during whole meal. I was still finishing them also after we were done with sushi. I was still eating some when waiter came and placed the bowl with the scraps in to my bowl with still some edamames in. I do not understand this move, he saw me that I am still eating them because I was holding the bean in my hand. When my boyfriend mentioned, that I am still eating it, he said something like ,,there just three” and he left.

Half of my group was sitting with empty glasses for more than 20 minutes. Nobody asked them, if they would like to have something else to drink.

We were waiting another 15 minutes for the sevice. Somebody finally came when we started to haunt them with our eyes. We asked for reciept and left. Nobody offered us coffee or desseret.

I left the restaurant pretty upset. We spend in Agia Napa 6 days and we kept this restaurant as final dinner for this stay. We did not saw the need of making the reservation, because we were passing the restaurant 3-4 times every evening and it was allways more than half empty, same like yesterday, when we had dinner there.

I felt unwelcome during...

The best Japanese in Cyprus, And I’m not just saying that, After moving to cyprus a few years ago i was searching many places from nicosia, limassol, larnaca , and was really not that impressed with the oriental food, until i went to Napa and i found MEGU,, From that day i have been there nearly every week, i love the food soooo much , I don’t eat meat and as you can see from my photos the food is amazing, and also the fantastic service given and really friendly staff, i cannot say one negative thing, The chefs are amazing and bar man is great, And i would really like to thank the manager as he always goes above and beyond for his customers….if i could give more stars i would ,believe me. Everyone i have brought here just loves it. When the season closes in mid November i am really sad and just count the weeks until they open again in end of march.. 100%...
