Our Dream Wedding at Nissi Beach Resort, Ayia Napa||From the moment we arrived at Nissi Beach Resort, the staff were absolutely incredible. A special thank you to Mario, Daphne, and Richard – you were a credit to the hotel. Meeting you as we checked in instantly reassured us that everything was in hand. We felt truly looked after from start to finish.||We chose the Mediterranean buffet, and it was gorgeous! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, and there was more than enough for all our guests. The cake was absolutely amazing – not only did it look stunning, but everyone said how fresh and tasty it was. Not a slice left!||Our photographers, Love ’n Light – Marit & Contis – were fantastic. They made us feel so at ease, and our video and photos are everything we dreamed of and more.||Amore Weddings – Edward, you brought our vision to life. From the WhatsApp chats to our first meeting, we knew we were in safe hands. Your communication was second to none. Any idea or change I had, you were there straight away to make it happen. Thank you!||Richi Roo Designs – Cherilee, thank you for being so patient with me. I changed my mind a million times, but you stayed calm and accommodating through it all. You created so many drafts until it was perfect – I’m so grateful!||The Greek dancers were a last-minute decision, but one of the best! They got everyone up and dancing straight after the meal and really kept the party going – such a fun and authentic touch to our day.||Cinderellas – the communication and timing were spot on. My dress, bridesmaids’ dresses, and suits were delivered exactly as needed, completely stress-free. I even chose to get my dress cleaned with them because the whole process was so easy. Even after checking out of Nissi and moving to the Adams Hotel for a couple of nights (we honestly wish we stayed at Nissi the whole time!), there were no issues – they delivered my cleaned dress right to us.||LA Taxis were brilliant for our airport transport – professional, punctual, and welcoming. Highly recommend booking with them for a smooth journey.||Wedd Muse – you felt like another bridesmaid! You brought so much fun to the day and made our whole bridal party feel amazing. Everyone loved doing the reels and transformations with you. You put me at ease instantly, and the photo turnaround time was incredible!||Machionas Hair – we went to his stunning salon just outside the hotel, and I’m so glad we did. He is incredibly talented – I showed him a photo of my dream style with extensions, and he made it even better in real life. I absolutely loved my hair.||Makeup by Lou also worked her magic in the same salon. She and Machionas were the dream team – super professional and completely on schedule, even with a bridal party of 7! Our makeup was modern, glam, and long-lasting, using only the best products. We looked and felt amazing all day.||A final special mention to the Nissi Beach staff, especially the pool bar team. Even when it rained one day, they made sure our bridal party still had the best time. The resort is beautiful, chilled, and relaxing – we honestly cannot wait to return.||To any future brides: don’t stress. You are 100% in safe hands at Nissi Beach. I would recommend getting married there a...
Read moreWe’ve just returned from the wedding of our dreams, and I can’t speak highly enough of our 9-night stay at Nissi Beach Resort — it was truly fantastic. We stayed in a Beach Bungalow Suite, which was not only beautiful but had every amenity you could possibly need. The views across the hotel and beach were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire resort, from the gardens to the communal areas was impeccably clean and well-maintained.||Wedding Experience|From start to finish, our wedding was seamless, thanks to the amazing team at the resort.|Sabrina, our wedding coordinator, was a total star- warm, friendly, and the calming presence every bride needs. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was always quick to answer any questions I had leading up to the big day.|Richard, who handled our music, was excellent. He took care of everything so professionally that the entire experience felt effortless.|I had my hair styled by Popi and her assistant, and they absolutely nailed the look I wanted, not only for me but for my bridesmaids too, all done swiftly and stress-free.|Marios was also exceptional. His communication before we arrived was spot-on, answering countless questions with patience and clarity. Once we got to the resort, he met with us personally to finalise all the details, putting my mind completely at ease. He was incredibly professional and reassuring, just what you need in the lead-up to your wedding.||Pool Bar & Staff|The staff at the pool bar were amazing- special thanks to Georgina and Vasilis, who greeted us every morning with a warm smile. On our wedding day, George, the head waiter at the Rondavel, was an absolute delight — cheerful, attentive, and genuinely happy to be part of our day.|We also enjoyed the poolside entertainment- fun and relaxed, with a nice touch of offering drink vouchers to those who placed in the top three during games.|It’s worth noting that the sunbeds have been upgraded since our last visit — they’re now super thick and comfy, with sturdy, fixed parasols that offered great shade.||Food|Breakfast was consistently excellent, a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options including hot items, fresh fruits, cereals, cheeses, meats, and salads, all kept replenished and well presented.|We grabbed lunch a few times from the pool bar, and it was great that they offered takeaway so we could enjoy our food by the pool.|Although we mostly ate out in the evenings (thanks to the many nearby options), we did try the resort’s buffet one night. While buffets aren’t usually my preference, I was pleasantly surprised — it was a themed night (Oriental) and everything was cohesive and delicious. The quality was high, and the variety kept it interesting.||Beach|While the beach isn’t private and can get a little crowded, the sea is absolutely stunning — crystal clear and perfect for a swim. It’s a beautiful setting and just steps from the resort.||We can’t wait to return, everything...
Read moreJust spent a week at the hotel to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. As a wedding venue I couldn’t find fault. The location, grounds, gardens are beautiful. The wedding planners are first rate and the hotel staff, as I find with most Greek people, are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The wedding itself was brilliant. From the ceremony held within the gardens, canapés in the hotel bar, to the evening “do” held in a separate building near the waters edge everything was really great. However, if I had visited the hotel purely as a holiday, I would have been a little disappointed:- On arrival I thought the large reception area was rather austere with dated furniture and no real sense of “luxury”. We had booked a beach bungalow as there were several young children in our party and we thought it would be ideal for them to be able to play on the shaded grassed area outside the “bungalow”. I was a little disappointed to find that my “bungalow” was not even on the ground floor. Although clean and tidy the fixtures and fittings were basic and dated. The size of the “bungalow” was only the size of a normal hotel room. Other members of our party were staying within the main building. On visiting them I found their rooms to be very small and basic. We had opted for bed and breakfast. The restaurant staff were again very pleasant. The food was the usual hotel fare and the same every morning. I can’t comment on the dinner options as we ate outside the hotel. The hotel has a good pool. Very warm water and no trouble finding a sun bed at any time of day. However, there is no “shallow” entry to the pool. I was aware of one disabled guest who was disappointed to find that she couldn’t get into the pool because of this. There is direct access to the beach and hotel guests pay 2.50 Euros per bed with free sunshade/umbrella. The entertainment was quite low key and held outside the hotel bar during the evenings. As I’ve said, as a wedding venue the hotel is first class. As a holiday hotel it could really do with a full upgrade with new fixtures and fittings throughout. It is described as a luxury hotel but I am afraid it is far from it. My other daughter stayed at the Adams Beach hotel a short distance away which although busy was far more luxurious. She actually paid less than us for a 2 bedroom, 2...
