Atlas — Restaurant in Ayia Napa

In general: Staff is very friendly. Everyone is very organized and that's why we never waited long for a seat, food or bill. The food is delicious and very plentiful. Everything is clean and they always change the tablecloths. The quality and quantity justify the prices. Highly recommend.

Food: Souvlaki (special menu) - 5/5: delicious, comes with salad, fries and Tzatziki sauce. More than enough for an average person. Pork in mushroom sauce (special menu) 4.5/5: tasty and soft meat. Mushroom sauce - creamy and more than enough. I didn't manage to finish the mashed potato because the portion is pretty big. Lasagna - 4/5: baked in an earthenware bowl, arrives hot on the table. Not bad. For the average person to eat. Pizza Quatro Stagioni (on the image) - 4/5: two average people can share it. Delicious. The dough is crispy, just baked and just the right thickness. The ingredients are balanced. Pizza Parma & Rocket - 5/5: anyone who loves Rocket (arugula) must try this. Very tasty, I like it better than Quatro Stagioni. It can be shared by two average people if they are not hungry, or can be eaten by one person if they are hungry. Tortellini Al Forno - 3/5: it's tasty but hard on the stomach (too much fat). Unfortunately, I didn't manage to eat it all because of that. I would rather recommend...

We chose this restaurant based on good reviews while staying at a nearby hotel. And we were certainly not disappointed.

Food is genuinely amazing and service is very attentive and personal. Menu is huge and there are lots of dishes to choose from. Price is very reasonable, too.

We ended up returning to Atlas for dinner 5 times so have tried a few different dishes. The dishes that stood out for us were: garlic bread with feta cheese, garlic and chilli prawns, fish plate, Panna cota, tiramisu, freshly squeezed sweet orange juice and simple, but absolutely delicious fresh, still warm, bread with butter to start with. Kids had their pizzas from the kids menu almost every time. Then they spent time having fun in the kids room so we could enjoy our dinner longer!

We were served by several waiters during our numerous visits to Atlas and everyone made us feel very welcome. The two people who made our visits extra special were Ioana and Andreas.

Complementary 'shots' both alcoholic and non-alcoholic (for kids or non-drinkers) were also a very nice gesture. Kids loved being included!

Mixed experience - 1st stunning one (pizza, pasta, salad and service). 2nd time big fail. Frozen calamari …

We went to this restaurant during 7 days twice. First time excellent experience (pizza, salat, pasta). Extraordinary service 👍.

Second time quit big negative experience - grilled calamari a big fail because it was prepared from frozen one! At the sea! The calamari was hard, like gumi and even not properly cleaned from inside and too much grilled (bitter taste on the bottom). For 21€!

In a good restaurant, which is located near the sea I would expect just fresh sea food … Not sure, whether it is a standard or just bad lack …. If bad lack (they sold fresh ones) it is better to say to the customer, sorry, we sold everything than to prepare frozen one …

To be also positive - standard food like pizza, pasta, dolces are really good and service is really, really extraordinary 👍

Maybe a recommendation to owner: pls prepare sea food from fresh ones ingredients or just serve excellent pizza,...
