After my father and step mum had a very long day at work we were hoping to arrive at the restaurant and receive a normal service. (How very wrong our expectations were)
Arriving at approx 9.20pm we were seated and had our orders placed within fifteen minutes. After waiting half an hour for my starter, we asked the waiter how long it will take to arrive (bearing in mind it was a very simple dish, a dip with some pitta bread). My starter arrived within a few minutes of enquiring and it was wonderful in taste and well presented. At this point please note neither my step mum or father had received their mains.
After waiting an excrutiatingly long hour and half we decided to leave around 10.50pm as we still had not been served our mains despite being ensured that they were on their way, but the chef was sick so they asked us to be patient.
If your chef is sick - close your restaurant! Do not make the very hard working locals waste an hour and a half of their Saturday evening waiting for food that is never going to come!
We were all extremely dissapointed and frustrated by this experience and will certainly not be returning. The cashier only charged us for a couple of the drinks we had which we deemed acceptable considering how much our evening was ruined.
Advice to the managers: Hire more staff and don't take advantage of your customers. The least you can do is advise your customers of the approximate waiting time for their food to be served at the beginning of...

We went here for late lunch on Friday. Our order was sea bass and octopus grilled. White chilled house wine was really great and to the point for a hot afternoon for my husband. I don’t drink alcohol at all and any drinks, while eating but fennel tea, which they couldn’t offer. So I withdrew myself from drinking.
Our waitress (small girl with curly hair) was very welcoming and made good impression of the service to the contrary of Julia, probably a senior waitress, who dared to lie instead of just apologizing, was rude and sycophant. To put it shot, somebody who was cooking octopus didn’t bother to remove beak((( my husband’s knife gnashed on something tough inside a flesh and that was it. I appealed to Julia to point this, to what she answered that was an eye🤦🏻♀️probably hoping that nobody among their guests ever peeled octopus themselves.. I checked it again not to blame innocent by chance.. I wasn’t mistaken and that was really beak, tough and black. When I pointed it to her, she didn’t find any better answer but to say “you drink your water”( see up). I have my water with me always, but I never accompany food with liquids) Pity to have such a person in a restaurant that try to boast good service; as mistakes happen - to say Sorry and solve a problem, is always better than to become nervous being caught lying( No sincere...
Read moreWhat a disappointment!!. On seeing this restaurant we thought how lovely it looked and there were lots of people in so thought we would give it a try. We asked to sit indoors but we’re told the tables were all reserved so we had to sit outside. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to come and ask for the drinks order and then we ordered food. Over 1hr 15 minutes still no starters arrived so we asked and had to wait another 10 min for them. No one came to explain the wait and then after this we were so cold we asked if we could move into the tables indoors that had not been filled. In this time of waiting one family of 8 walked out due to waiting longer than us. Our food finally arrived but two of the meals were wrong and when we asked we were told it was what we had ordered. Another family then walked out after receiving food that they had not ordered. The staff did not care. The only reason I have given the one star is because when the food came it was really...
