Pambos Napa Rocks — Hotel in Ayia Napa

Avoid Pambo rocks hotel (where they do the pool parties) as I had countless issues: back door didn't lock so anyone could get in took 3 days for them to fix it, aircon was extremely mouldy, every time you used the sink or shower it flooded whole apartment and stank, the lads did not appreciate using the toilet and not being able to flush it as it would rise to the brim for hours! Wi-Fi wasn't free as was advertised, there was a tv frame but no tv(Not necessary but was on our booking same as wifi), it stank of sewage, they only cleaned every 3 days, everytime I asked for new towels or a room clean they would ignore us until I would demand it at reception after asking numerous times! My friends suspected they stole their stuff I lost almost 100 euros but in Napa I couldn't blame the staff myself however my friends could every time as they were only people who could access our room once back door was fixed. They refused to give us a €50 deposit back because I wasn't given a paper slip upon check in, i requested them to check cctv and they refused. Told me to claim it off my holiday package when infact it was their responsibility as i gave them cash upon check in! They paint over walls that people throw up on every morning 🙃we caught them in the act every morning why didn't they just hose down the walls with water would have been more effective🙃 the pool was not cleaned or even monitored (granted it was an adult only hotel but everyone is going to be drunk let's be realistic) we found glass in the pool also. worst hotel ever! what made it worse is we were better off than every single person we met in the hotel. Alot of peoples beds riddled with bed bugs their skin showed countless bites! Even told about cockroach nests, never had anyone clean their room (our was cleaned as I kept making a fuss about it but only happened every 3 days). We paid for bed and breakfast and every time we went to get it in the morning they only had 1 or 2 left (there was 3 guests on my booking) meaning it was cooked before hand and not catered for those whole already paid for it we arrived for breakfast at 9 but most days had to go out and pay at nice restaurants (one just outside hotel) Other people who stayed there paid twice as much as me and had phones clothes money etc stolen almost daily. One of them was early pregnant so she couldn't drink and staff tried to blame stolen items on drunk behaviour! The woman on reception is beyond disrespectful To the point my friends were looking at flights home on the third day! I will never ever return here which is a shame as Napa is a lush place just had the worst experience!!

I was so angry about the lack of respect and empathy on our stay I was looking to get money back however it wouldn't be fair on the agency we booked with as it was souly down to the hotel, the cleaners, the lady receptionist (tall pretty woman with dark brown hair) and the fact I couldn't even get my €50 deposit back. Bare in mind the room was in a worse state when we arrived than when we left and They said that's not what the deposit is for "the deposit is only returned with the slip" surely if they wrote on a slip they would have their own copy of our deposit?? I wouldn't know how or where to take this. And I'm so glad we were not another guest as their stays were 10 times...

This is by far the most horrible and disgusting place I've ever been inside. Never have I seen a more treacherous place and with such unorganized and disgusting management and condition. Not even mentioning that entire parts of the building are completely abandoned ( not under construction fully abandoned) Room conditions are beyond anyone's sane expectation. Rooms with left over hair, uncleaned sheets, ants, uncleaned areas, broken things everywhere, and I'm not making this up when I say I found a pill inside a crevice of the sliding door of the balcony. This is not to mention that all the doors have been broken into, as you can see the wood around the lock is completely destroyed and has had only the lock replaced. This is not to mention also all the illegal building safety standards that are completely disregard. To name a few, dark corridors, no fire extinguishers in the fire extinguisher box ( multiple counts of this ). Also no cameras no lights and dirty floors, there are entire sections that have wires and metal poles sticking out right next to the rooms... Clearly no safety concerns absolute none. Also they make you pay 10 euros a day for the AC, and our room had it broken only we bought it for the day but they didn't fix it in time meaning we never saw our money back. The days after we were moved in another room same condions as the other ( this room had the pill inside ) only the AC worked but it was fixed on max and there was no way of adjusting the temperature.

This place tries in every way to make you spend unnecessary money and leaves you in the worst condions possible. Also important note, if you do some research of the place you'll find numerous testimony's of people having experiences such as rape and attempted rape. Staff beating customers, and you'll also find news articles of a man dying in the hotels pool because of how dirty it was ( at the time of that incident the hotel went for a different name, after that they changed the name to what it is now )

I urge you not in any circumstance to stay at this place even a single day you're life is seriously in danger, and it is a miracle nothing major happened to us, but other people haven't been so lucky.

Dear God whatever you do stay away this place has to be closed down and its only a matter of time something horrible happens or someone else gets...

Well this hotel was an absolute let down from beginning to end... Firstly, i had requested 2 be put in a lower floor room as i have mobility issues... this request was completely ignored, and we were put on the 3rd floor, which from the street was 5 flights of stairs, or a really steep hill and 3 flights of stairs.... The room itself was clean upon arrival, but we soon found problems, the shower barely worked and when it did it was freezing cold... The beds were very low and uncomfortable... Our bedding was changed only once in the space of a week, and fresh towels/ toilet roll every other day... we didnt even get clean cups 4 tea n coffee... The noise level at this hotel was appalling... especially music blasting until 5am, and the sound of youths 'at it' on the sunbeds at gone midnight everynight... wasnt very amusing, nor what i wanted 2 hear! Then there was the issue of the view from our balcony... well the view we had, which would have been lovely, if not for being obstructed by a huge tree.... Complaints were made about numerous things, only for us to be told that nothing could be done because the manager wasnt around.... i didnt see him/ her once in the whole week we were there... And ontop of that hardly any of the staff could speak english, so couldnt undersrand what We were even saying... they would just shrug their shoulders!!

I definitely would not stay at this hotel again in the future... i was highly disappointed, as was my step mum, who was on holiday with me! I do not rate this hotel at all. The staff werent much use, the cleanliness was poor, as was the general upkeep!

I would not reccommend this hotel to anybody! It needs proper management and someone there to deal with customers complaints and requests... i would go as far as to say its overpriced and the adverts/ pictures are also misleading, as we were meant 2 beleive it was an adults only hotel, yet there were kids there, and most of the guests were club 18-30.... which waas never mentioned prior to us arriving!
