HORRIFIC DISGUSTING HOTEL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Before booking, we called to request two rooms near each other, which they guaranteed. However, upon arrival, they put me and my friends on different floors and justified it by saying the rooms were in the same area. This caused a huge inconvenience during our trip.
From the start to the end, their customer service was horrible. When we got to the room, it was nothing like the pictures. We were promised a sofa in both rooms, but only one had it. We were too tired to argue and let it go. The phone in our room was not working, and despite bringing this up multiple times to the receptionist, they did not care. Every time I wanted housekeeping, I had to ask the receptionist, as I couldn't call. Despite asking for days in a row, I did not get housekeeping until the fourth day of a seven-day stay where they only slightly cleaned the floors and that’s it.
Housekeeping was completely unprofessional. Not once during my stay did they change, clean, or even fold the bedding. The towels they provided were dirty, and the rooms had ants everywhere. Midway through my stay, I started getting itchy and developed rashes, either from bed bugs or the filthy bed. As a result, I found the storeroom myself at night, got clean bedding, and made the bed.
The cleanliness of this hotel was a joke. At one point, there was an insect in my bathroom. The food was the worst thing I've ever eaten; I even spat out the cereal. This hotel has no good food and no room service, so I had no choice but to order food. I was not aware that this is not allowed, as it was never stated. When I told the staff I was unaware of this rule, they were extremely rude. They replied, “This is a 4-star hotel, what did you expect?” which was the biggest joke ever.
Towards the end of the trip, I asked for help with my bags to the reception, and they simply told me to do it myself. When I expressed my concerns to the manager, he basically said "okay" and left, without apologizing. The second time I tried to talk to him, he walked away, saying he was busy.
We paid around €2500 for this unacceptable service. Lastly, we asked them to call a cab for us, specifying the number of people and bags. The taxi they called was too small, and the driver had to get us a new one.
In conclusion, this hotel is an absolute disaster. The customer service is atrocious, the rooms are filthy, and the amenities are nonexistent. The management is indifferent to guests' concerns and the overall experience is abysmal. For the exorbitant price we paid, we received nothing but frustration and disappointment. Read moreThe location is near central Ayia Napa, near shops, restaurants & very close to the beach. The reception staff seemed to be the same person everyday. Our room was not cleaned for days. As you are not allowed to put toilet paper in the toilet our bin became very full & smelly. Each time I went to reception to ask for a room clean, there were always other people there first with similar complaints. The man at reception was very rude & often did not listen to people’s views. He appeared fed up of working there. There was one time when I went to reception, the chap asked me what I wanted as I proceeded to tell him, he cut me off to ask another (cabin crew staff) person what they wanted. The man handed back 3 room cards saying all those rooms they were given were already occupied by others. He said when they’d entered those rooms, those occupants were on the toilet, one was in the shower & the other occupant was getting dressed!!!How utterly awful for those occupants of those room!! I definitely would NOT say this is a 4 star hotel- 2 star at best. It’s like the right foot doesn’t know what the left foot is doing! Their breakfast offering wasn’t anything special with no signs as to what the items may be. I thought a tray of pink stuff was Taramasalata as it was next to the olives- only to be told it was strawberry yogurt! Each time I asked when our room would be cleaned I was told it would be that day & staff were working until midnight to clean rooms. Can you imagine the cleaners coming in when you’re sleeping?! This hotel is trying to be something it’s clearly not. We stayed in a small family run 3 star hotel when we came to Ayia Napa in June- staff were extremely attentive, our room was cleaned every single day & the grounds were immaculate! There appears to be hardly any staff here. There’s an older chap running around, ( perhaps the manager?), playing wakemol telling people ‘yes rooms will be cleaned’ yes we’ll make sure this or that is done’ but nothing gets done! Read moreTo be sort do not make my mistake, and do not take this hotel. I have never seen so terrible hotel. They did not clean rooms or change towels, after some complains they will start torturing you.
After each lauch or dinner they approach us and announce about unclosed bills, such kind of thing happens even I upgraded into all-inclusive. But unpriced services that you will never know right before the bills is just start of terrible expairence in this hotel. Hotel does provide of water or just coffee in rooms.
After first nigth we discover stollen bags and cash from the room, but no one cares about it. Staff is antisocial and ultra-rough, they even disturb us during lauch to just check does we really guest of hotel or just taking free lauch.
If you think complains to receiption would be helpfull, I would say NO!. After making complains to recieptions about unfair business pratice, anclear rooms and terrible behaivor of staff to guset, they started acting like "mafia" and each day we started lost one of ours clothes or glasses. They EVEN tried to put me out from hotel, if I will make a bad comments.
Anyway, please never ever goes to this hotel. Last 7 days is terrible holidays with dirty rooms, without beach, with scame pricing, and with filling that next day I will discover next losten or stollen things and would be victim of behaivor of staff.
p.s. They even managed to give another guest of hotel my room keys))) Forget about...
