Lagoon Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in Girne Belediyesi

We came here for the fish meze after checking the website in advance – the menu, prices, and reviews looked very appealing, which is why we decided to try it. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match our expectations.

The biggest disappointment was that the menu and prices online were completely outdated. Once we arrived, we found that everything was double the price compared to what was shown on the website, which makes it no cheaper than many other places around.

As for the fish meze itself, it was fine but nothing special – not bad, but also not outstanding or memorable. Considering the higher prices, we expected a bit more in terms of taste, presentation, or uniqueness.

Overall, I’m not sure why this place has such high ratings. It wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t anything that stood out. Definitely update your website prices so that customers know what to expect...

having tried this establishment I found the no atmosphere within the restaurant and the ambiance was zero. To the meal after a language problem we were serve a whole fish much bigger than what we wanted. The salad was pathetic and although I ordered chips with my fish the waiter stated he substituted roast potatoes, something I didn't want after insistence he did deliver chips half way the meal and even charged extra for them.
