Overall an average, but a mixed experience. The French onion soup was tasty, and the ceviche, sea bass and salmon were well prepared. However, I ordered jumbo shrimp but received a shrimp-calamari cocktail instead; the calamari was ordinary, and the shrimp were just pan-fried in butter without much flavor. The yogurt-raki sauce on the side didn’t fit at all. The Angus ribeye steak was nicely cooked and served with steamed vegetables, but there was a 15-minute delay before the main course. Service was polite and attentive. We sat in the garden, it was calm at first, but then a DJ started playing loud music with awkward transitions, turning the dinner atmosphere into something like a club. This was the biggest drawback. However, I was a was a bit disappointed to order a meatball plate and receive ham instead; that’s not what I expected. I also ordered pineapple juice but received a can of Juss, which was a bit disappointing as well. We were celebrating a birthday, and when I asked if I could bring a cake, I was told yes; but no one mentioned that if we wanted to share it, there would be a 150 TL charge per slice, even though you don’t sell cakes yourselves.
