Pier Beach Aparthotel is located in the Limassol seafront, at the far end of the Molos Park. |I stayed at Pier Beach four nights in September 2022. The views from the balconies of the rooms facing the sea are really nice, especially from the 3rd floor up (I was at the 5th floor). |Pier Beach Aparthotel is a very good option to sojourn in Limassol: conveniently close to the downtown (it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the Castle of Limassol and the Old Port; bus stops to the downtown and to several other locations are very near to the hotel), it has clean, well-kept, comfortable and rather spacious rooms, which also have kitchen appliances if you want to prepare your meals. The staff are friendly and the Wi-Fi connection works well. There is a restaurant at the ground floor which also welcomes customers not staying in the hotel (therefore you can also enter the hotel by going through the restaurant). Prices are reasonable considering the hotel is in one of the most expensive places of Cyprus: please note that if you book in peak season or also in shoulder season the hotel might ask you to pay the whole price of your stay as the rooms are in high demand. Storage space in the rooms is fairly good but not huge, something to think about if you plan to stay over there for a long time. As the hotel is on the seafront and on one of the busiest streets of Limassol, if you do not tolerate noise well you might have some problems in case you stay in the rooms facing the sea, especially those on lower floors (this is not my case - I cope well with noise - and I...
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, we also had a great balcony view across the city of Limassol. The hotel is in a good location and it's easy to get around from here.||We were also greeted with complimentary coffee and a bottle of local wine, which was a lovely touch.||The only drawback here, or at least thing to consider when booking is the parking situation. We chose this hotel because it was advertised on booking.com as offering parking facilities. They do, but there are very few spaces (less than 20) and they won't let you pre-book one. So it's pot luck if you get one or not. We were travelling round the island of Cyprus by car and this was our last stop before handing back our rental at the airport, so quite important and had the potential to really go wrong for us.||A system of pre booking and/or deal with larger carparks close by to act as an overspill would be...
Read moreA very nice self catering studio room but lacking in facilities. Only a total of 6 clothes hangers. Not enough kitchen storage, needs a wall unit to store food. Needs a draining board. Needs a coat hanger by the door. Needs hooks in the bathroom. Needs a drying rack for wet beach clothes. Otherwise a very nice hotel with friendly staff. It's in a good location by the sea and near the old town. Book direct with this hotel, we booked through booking.com and paid more... We came here to inline skate and this area is perfect for this sport. We are able to put our skates on in the hotel and skate straight to the promenade with is smooth. Then head to the port and into the old town to explore. Street skating is best done either late in the night or early in the morning because there is a...
