Let me first say that the surrounding area was incredible. Mountainous views all around us, lush grassy fields down below, fruit tree’s line the street leading up to our apartment. There was a really nice natural vibe with birds and bees very much in business. The pool, although we didn’t try it, was pleasant on the eyes and made for a great sight over all. ||||However that is as far as my praise for this place goes. Unfortunately our stay was let down in many area’s. The reception was hidden inside of the restaurant with no indication from the out side that this was the case. Because of this we were left wandering around the nearby streets trying to find anything that resembled an office or a restaurant. There was a sign that said office on it but through the window we could see that this building was derelict and deserted. ||||Once we finally realised that the reception was within the restaurant we were left waiting for roughly five minutes whilst the ‘receptionist’ (who also seemed to serve as a chef, waiter and every other role under the sun) served people food who were waiting in the restaurant. ||||We were then informed that our key was in the lock of our front door and that we were in apartment number 21. This we were fine with. We were happy to let ourselves in. ||||Parking for our villa was a short walk away.||||Once we got inside the apartment we were greeted by a very out dated kitchen. There was a two ring hob, a sink with no plug, taps with no pressure behind them, a hot tap with no heat behind it, one plug socket to power both the kettle and the toaster and a small fridge, that wasn’t switched on prior to arrival meaning we couldn’t use it immediately. ||||Moving into the bedroom, which was separated by an MDF wooden structure which acted as a sofa, dresser, wardrobe and coat hooks as well as a door way, you’ll find a hair dryer with a two prong power supply whilst the entire apartment is equipped with three prong plug sockets thus rendering it useless and unusable. You’ll also find a double bed and two towels each. The mattress comprises of uncomfortable springs on both sides making for a difficult nights sleep. ||||I had to go and enquire about the WiFi password. A large majority of the places I have stayed in have had the password written on a wall either in the reception area, the restaurant, on the room key chain or even inside each of the villas. Once the WiFi was up and running on our devices it was slow and inconsistent.||||There is a very cute balcony in the far corner which allows you to fully appreciate the incredible views and I would claim that this is the best part of our stay.||||The bathroom is adjacent and this is where we felt most let down. The shower was not working on our second day which we later found out was because a local pump had been switched off. But throughout all four of our days in this villa we found that the shower was unbearably cold and still had a low amount of pressure no matter the day. ||||Equally the bathroom sink taps were short in power and heat thus leading to more difficulties during our stay. The bathroom door was a slide door with no lock on it meaning we felt a slight lack of privacy at times. ||||||There are a few things tourists and travellers are reluctant to budge on in their expectations when they stay somewhere and a lot of those things I feel we were let down by. ||||Amenities: 1/5 ||Comfort: 2/5||Service & Satisfaction: 2/5||Views and surroundings: 5/5||Park facilities: 2/5||Room...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would!||Only stayed recently for 3 nights and I'm glad we didn't stay any longer.||Room quality:|The rooms were very small and there was no oven in the kitchen, which was okay due to us preffering to eat out anyway. Our fridge wasn't switched on at the wall, leaving it standing warm. This meant that the food we had bought prior to arriving had to be thrown away! The hair dryer (if you use one) was a 2 prong plug, however, the socket was an English 3 prong so was unable to use it. The shower was awful and only drizzled a very tiny amount out, even with the tap on fully. There was no hot water forcing us to have a cold shower. (we was later given an explanation about the water at check out!!) 2 of the plug sockets did not work, which meant we had to share one in the kitchen to charge phones/camera equipment etc. The balcony was fine, and the views were lovely.||Location:|The location is easy to get to and the complex is a good size with multiple appartment next to each other. There is NO advertisement to the whereabouts of the reception. We was left wondering around, eventually discovering that it is located in the restaurant. ||Customer service:|Awful!! There was very little exchange in conversation with the owner apon arrival which wasn't alarming. However! When we proceeded to return our keys on check out the owner accused my partner of writing online that the pool was closed which he did not! We never attempted to use the pool throughout our stay nor did we assume it was unavailable. After my partner explained that this imformation was not included in our review, the owner persisted to ask our names and was hastily looking through his phone to find evidence of his accusation. (which he did not find) we made him aware that the shower did not work which he then explained that the water had been cut off (which we was not made aware of despite returning to our appartment multiple times)||Overall I would not recommend these appartments at all which is unfortunate as the views...
Read moreReview for my in-laws who stayed here 10 days and are now staying with me for the next 5 (22 - 27 Dec) as it has been too much||Positives is that this place looks good on pictures. The outside area looks nice and the views are out towards the mountains. It is not far to walk to Pissouri Jetty (600m). In addition to this it is cheap... but for a reason. The bed was comfortable and they came in and changed the towels and emptied bins after 1 week. ||This place needs some TLC. Rooms are very basic with minimal cooking equipment... An oven or microwave would have been nice. Although aircon which is a heater the room was very cold on a night as drafts through the patio doors and large gap under front door... We used seats to block and try keep some heat in, also cleaned the aircon unit so it worked. ||This place was not clean... Even the cleaning equipment is filthy. The bathroom is old and dirty and the toilet takes 20 min to refill once used so not suitable for 2 to go in the morning. |I think in the summer it may be nicer and the aircon would help more than as a Heater. As out of season the bins are all full and you would expect now would be the time to clear and clean. ||The noise was atrocious on a night with the humming from the roof, frogs and cats.. If you are a light sleeper and stay here...
