Myself, partner and daughter went here for our food these evening. We knew as soon as we got there is wasn’t going to be the best experience. The young brunette lady who served us was extremely rude, never even got a smile out of her. We were nothing but polite but she just could not make it more obvious that we was nothing but annoying tourists. One of the males working there was running around hissing at and spraying the cats with water which to a certain extent is understandable but still upsetting for animal lovers and particularly a 7 year old to see. There was one older lady there who was nice so Atleast not all staff are bad. They did over charge us, only by a few euros but that’s besides the point. Food wasn’t great either, was definitely expecting better especially as we also found a hair on my parters dinner. Didn’t feel entirely comfortable completing about this due to the young lady’s attitude so we payed up and left asap. Food was no more than a 2 star either. Definitely won’t be retuning here this holiday or on any future holidays. Really is a shame about the staff as staff everywhere else have been lovely. Their staffs attitude really lets...
Read moreWe had dinner at Artemis with my family. Friendly staff, but the food needs to be improved. Probably we didn't go at the right time as they were busy renovating & decorating the place, and we were the only customers, but they stated they are open, and they had vegetarian food as well when I asked. I wanted to order vegetarian moussaka from the menu. Unfortunately didn't have one on the day, so I went for their veggie pizza instead. The owner again said it is a freshly made pizza. But to my disappointment, it wasn't. It was more like a ready-made pizza base with some added topping. The fish that my Mrs ordered...

The menu offers a wide range of choices but majors on seafood. We went for the seafood meze which is served for a minimum of two people. We knew it would be too much for us but we wanted to experience all that it offered.
The starter section offered a mixed salad, tahini and taramasalata along with bread and mushrooms sautéd in olive oil.
Next came different platters arriving at different times. First was Swordfish, octopus, cuttlefish and prawns. Followed by fries, calamari, whitebait and finally a whole sea bream beautifully grilled.
It was all washed down with a dry white village wine which was excellent.
I highly recommend this restaurant and the seafood meze in particular. If you crane your neck you even get a view...
