I was here for a business trip and we went out for Dinner (coming back to the hotel at 10pm). I had forgotten my key card in the room but the reception was closed (with 2 emergency numbers outside). Both didn't work... After 1 hour I asked a colleague If I can sleep in his room... So thanks to him and good luck that I was not alone. Otherwise I even wouldn't have been able to open the main door. Freezing outside... Unbelievable, what If that would have happened when you are here with young children? The next day I went to the reception (opening at 8), nobody was there except a cleaning woman who luckily opened the door for me. Later I at least wanted to have this clarified but the lady at the reception told me that I have must dialed the wrong numbers. So I dialed the number again and her phone rang 😀. She had a long chat with a colleague of hers with the result that she told me that after all it simply was my fault as I have forgotten my card in the room. This even was quite kind of funny. A simple "I'm really sorry" would have made it but I think you can't expect that here. Very poor reception, closely followed by a 1 star breakfast. The room was nice but unbelievable...
Read moreMy husband and I have just spent 4 nights at this lovely, contemporary hotel. Our room (Rm 6) looked out over the square and was extremely spacious and clean. This room has twin beds, which were comfortable, although a little firm. The pillows on the beds were too flat. The ensuite was large, clean and well equipped. Something that could be added to this room would be a full length mirror (some of the rooms have this).||The breakfast at his hotel is basic but ample. Making your own coffee from a jar of instant was very disappointing - not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Whilst we were there, the bar and restaurant were closed. This also was disappointing, although there are plenty places on the square to eat and drink.||The hotel, being on the square, is the perfect place for exploring what Kromeriz...
Read moreDefinitely the hotel is not 4* Jedynue reception service is ok. Beautiful historic building, in a great location, well maintained from the outside. The room in which I stayed in the heart of Central and Eastern Europe - without heating. If you consider the air conditioner as a heater, it is quite poor. However, the biggest disaster is the breakfast. It is indescribable. Cold sausages, quickly running out of pastry. No possibility of even ordering an omelette. Poor-quality coffee from the home coffee machine and stuffy, unpleasantly damp-smelling underground rooms. Generally everything is lacking, you have to ask for everything and the products are of quite low quality. This is not the 4* standard. Room stuffy, small window. In the bathrooms (and I saw 3 rooms, a lot of dampness and black mould in the corners...
