HERBARIUM boutique hotel — Hotel in okres Olomouc

Terrible experience as female travellers! The fro t desk said someone available until 10:00 pm. We arrived after walking back from a restaurant at 9:45. We could not enter the hotel using our keys/ credit card like keys. We were outside trying to figure out how to enter the building. There was a number on the door, we called it. The front desk girl/ manager also answered the phone. We examined we were stuck outside with our phones near dead batteries. I was upset because they misled us believing someone would be here. She walked here. Also upon checking in, the mini split, heated the room. I had to call them to out the air conditioning on. The manager did. It understand the modes for the controller either. The manager did not like being confronted by this terrible experience “ we could not enter the building”! This new generation has has zero idea about customer experience.! We really liked The Herbarium. It is very comfortable (especially the bed). The staff are notably friendly and very helpful. It has a gorgeous and peaceful location with a beautiful garden, surrounded by trees, with a river running across the bottom of the garden, and a wealth of birdlife. Yet it is just a few minutes walk to the old town, so you get the best of both worlds - and just 4 minutes away there is an excellent restaurant. In short, the Herbarium is an oasis of calm with all the advantages of a city centre location - an ideal combination. Though it is perhaps better to think of the Herbarium as an up-market boutique bed and breakfast than a hotel (they run an events business during the day). Už dlouho jsem neměla důvod psát recenzi, ale bohužel mě tento rádoby "boutique hotel" velice zklamal. Dokonce tak, že mám sto chutí žádat vrácení peněz. Nepřipravená přistýlka ani osušky atd. pro dceru (slibovaná omluva na pokoj na nás nečekala ani po návratu z města), absence funkční restaurace, absence ledničky na pokoji, což je snad už dnes standart. V koupelně prázdný dávkovač se sprchovým gelem, to už byl fakt vrchol. Chybějící informace na pokoji, jen prázdné desky. Ani při check-inu nebyly informace o snídani, wifi či čemkoli dalším, museli jsme se doptat sami. Rovněž nefunguje lampička u postele, tak si myslím, že na jeden pokoj toho máme víc než dost. Nechala jsem se zlákat na amazing places stejně jako na Penzion Jurášek, odkud jsme sem přicestovali, ale je to rozdíl jako nebe a dudy. Na to, že se v Beskydech jednalo pouze o penzion, službami, nabídkou prostě vším toto tisíckrát předčí. A cenový rozdíl minimální. Oproti tomu zde je to předražené a bez služeb. Jediné, co je pěkné je vybavení pokoje a to je podle mě skutečně za ty peníze málo. Jsem zvědavá, jestli nás přesvědčí o opaku alespoň snídaně. Dovětek: Snídaně byly dobré z kvalitních surovin, avšak celkový dojem nepřebijí. Úklid či stlaní postelí není prováděno, nikdo tu nijak nereaguje na to, že by něco nebylo v pořádku, nejspíše to tu mají za standard, což mi za tu částku, co si účtují, nepřipadá relevantní. Skutečně lituji, že jsme museli za něco takového dát takové peníze. Jak někdo zmiňoval již v předchozí recenzi je mi nejvíce líto zavěšených rostlin, které evidentně strádají a jsou už z části proschlé (myslím kapradiny), ty by si skutečně zasloužily větší vlhkost. Co se hotelu dá pochválit, tak kromě hezkého designu i strategické umístění v klidnější části a přitom v pochozí...
