Hotel Tomášov — Hotel in okres Zlín

I have to say that the customer service at the hotel is outstanding. The front desk people are very accommodating and quick with a response for any request. However, I have to say that when we came in 2017 I would have given it 5 stars. When I returned in Sept 2019, that rating dropped to 4. When I returned again in Jan 2020 it was noticeable that the hotel was not as clean as before with very obvious dust bunnies and broken baseboards etc. The housekeeping staff were obnoxiously loud at 800am. I just returned from Zlin last week and I have to say, if I wasn't attending the clinic attached to the hotel I would stay somewhere else. It's really going downhill. My room had obvious mould on the bathroom ceiling and by the entry door. There was dust that was VERY obvious throughout and there were ants in my room. I'm not sure if the restaurant is considered part of the hotel but that has also gone downhill. The scrambled eggs used to be something we raved about, on my latest trip I would lift the lid and it literally looked like slop. It was liquid egg mixed with some cooked egg. The choices for half board were not appetizing at all. Again, the staff is very nice and super accommodating but the food...

We would highly recommend Hotel Tomasov to anyone planning a trip to |Zlin.  The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, with |the added bonus of a majority of the staff being able to speak English.||The Restaurant staff were more than happy to assist with my dietary |requirements (vegan). With breakfast included in the room price and Dinner prices being very reasonable, it is super cheap to eat in every day if you wish.||The rooms are very modern and clean and we were lucky enough to |overlook the forest.||There is plenty to see and do in Zlin, with some amazing parks located a |short walk from the Hotel.  The Hotel is located at the top of a very |big hill, which I loved!  Not only did this make the view amazing but |having to walk up that hill several times a day did wonders for our |fitness. :-)||If you are planning a trip to Zlin to make use of the IVF clinic, then |Hotel Tomasov is the only place you should consider staying at.  With everything located under the one roof, you will be glad you made the |decision to stay = everything is made easier with no added stress. We have spent several nights as part of our IVF package. Dinner food was very tasty and staff so kind. Breakfast was buffet service made of salé and sucré treats, so delightful for a good start. Bedroom with forest view was cosy, trendy and very clean, we had wonderfull and peacefull nights. Staff at reception are very helpfull and reactive, willing to find solutions issues. We had two massages 💆‍♂️ 💆‍♀️ also to be rated 5 stars. Location is on top of a hill, not far away from city center (1 km) but without noise from traffic and public transport.
